LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Conservative commentator Candace Owens has sparked controversy once again over a heated exchange with Don Lemon that led to her TikTok account receiving a strike.

Owens, known for her outspoken views, took to social media to express her discontent and rally her followers' support.

"Don Lemon invited me onto his show and asked me about my Christian belief regarding his homosexual relationships. I respectfully and calmly told him that he was sinning. This is Christian bigotry," Owens shared on X.

Owens' latest controversy began during an interview with Lemon, a well-known media personality and former CNN anchor, as per OK Magazine.

The conversation, which aired on July 12, quickly escalated when the topic of same-sex marriage was broached. Lemon, who is married to Tim Malone, challenged Owens on her views regarding same-sex relationships.

During the interview, Owens made her stance clear, stating, "It’s a sin. I actually don’t believe that marriage can be between two men." She further asserted, "You are sinning. You are in a sinful relationship."

Lemon, in response, asked Owens if she would ever call him a derogatory term to his face. "Why would I just randomly call you a f****t?" Owens, looking shocked, responded. She then referenced a controversial skit by comedian Louis CK, suggesting Lemon should watch it.

Lemon pressed further, questioning if Owens uses such derogatory terms in general. Owens, a mother, replied, "I’m a 35-year-old mother. I don’t go around saying, ‘Hey, you’re a f****t!’ I’m not 18 years old."

The conversation took another turn when Lemon asked Owens if she used racial slurs.

Owens firmly stated that she does not. The intense exchange left Owens unsettled. "I have been in politics for a very long time. I have never experienced anything like that. He straight up asked me if I wanted to call him a f****t," she remarked afterward.

Earlier in the week, Owens faced backlash for her comments on the Holocaust, where she questioned the veracity of certain atrocities committed against Jewish children.

In a clip that circulated widely on social media, Owens remarked, "Some of the stories, by the way, sound completely absurd. The idea they just cut a human up and sewed them back together. Why would you do that?"

She continued, "Literally, even if you're the most evil person in the world, that's a tremendous waste of time and supplies. That just sounds like bizarre propaganda."
