Candace Owens mocks Meghan Markle’s chat with Mindy Kaling as 'playing a human being' in a 'performance'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Candace Owens addressed an interaction between Meghan Markle and Mindy Kaling on the Thursday, July 3, episode of her YouTube show ‘Candace’, where she called out the Duchess of Sussex for “playing a human being” in a “performance.”

The conservative commentator said, “I am sorry but... and genuinely I don't even mean to attack her. I just, there was something frustrating about her.”

“It's like she's playing a human being. Like it's a like it's a performance," Candace Owens noted.

She further added that Meghan pretended like “it's season three of some show that we’re watching and where she is required to pretend that she’s a human being and there’s an element of it that drives me insane that she just cannot communicate in a way that is relatable at all.”

The 36-year-old made the remarks after playing a March 13 clip from ‘The Tim Dillon Show’ where he commented on the moment when Kaling came on Meghan’s Netflix show, ‘With Love, Meghan’, and the former called the ex-actress “Meghan Markle.”

Meghan Markle asked Mindy Kaling to call her ‘Sussex’

The mother-of-two immediately told her, “It’s so funny, too, that you keep saying Meghan Markle. You know I’m Sussex now.”

“You have kids and you go, I share my name with my children. I didn’t know how meaningful it would be to me but it just means so much to go, this is our family name. Our little family now,” Meghan explained, to which Kaling replied, “Now I know and I love it.”

Tim Dillon claimed Meghan Markle’s ‘trying to be a human being’

Tim Dillon, on his show, reacted to Meghan’s reply.

He said, “Her lust for power, for status, for fame is so naked and so transparent. The demon inside of her is coming out of her eyes, and she's trying to be a human being, only to just be enough of a human being for the show.”

On her podcast, Owens said she agreed with Dillon and then added that he perfectly described the former senior royal member.

Mindy Kaling said she had a ‘great time’ with Meghan Markle while filming Netflix show

Meghan Markle and Mindy Kaling’s interaction received a lot of attention online, and 'The Office' actress was shocked by the aftermath.

During an episode of ‘The View’, she shared, “You know, I had a great time… I noticed that whenever I do something, anything related to Meghan, it becomes… big news.”

“We were making sandwiches, and then they’ll push in on my face on TikTok and they’ll be like, ‘Look at this emotion you felt,’ and I honestly didn’t even remember it because we shot it like nine months ago,” she added.

The comedian further mentioned that she "loved my time with Meghan. I’m also like, let her promote her show, I’m here to talk about 'Running Point.'"
