Dion initially planned to start her residency at Resorts World in November 2021, but health issues forced her to cancel the gig. Katy Perry stepped in to fill her spot, and Carrie Underwood is currently performing there, with her run set to end this November.

Despite battling Stiff-Person Syndrome, a neurological disorder that causes painful muscle stiffness and spasms, Dion's passion for performing remains undiminished.

As highlighted in her documentary, 'I Am: Celine Dion,' the singer is determined to return to the stage. A source close to Dion stated, “She’s prepared to power through it. It won’t stop her from performing.”
