LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Charlamagne tha God recently chastized Kanye West for his contentious social media posts, claiming that they are the result of jealousy over Kendrick Lamar's recent success.

In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) before Charlamagne's remarks, West (also known as Ye) incited uproar by calling himself a "Nazi" and defending Diddy, who is the target of numerous lawsuits.

In his February 7 conversation on 'The Breakfast Club', Charlamagne tha God claimed that West's recent tirades on X are "attention-seeking" attempts motivated by jealousy over Lamar's Grammy wins and impending Super Bowl halftime performance.

Charlamagne tha God links Kanye West's shenanigans to Kendrick Lamar's recent success

Following Kanye West's recent social media outburst, where he sought for the release of Diddy and labeled himself "a Nazi," Charlamagne tha God implied that West is "acting out" because he is envious of Kendrick Lamar.

Charlamagne stated, "You know, if he wants to ride for Diddy... Nothing wrong with that, that's on him," on 'The Breakfast Club', before adding, "But we do realize Kanye has been acting out all week because he's envious of Kendrick's moment, right?"

Comedian Jess Hilarious brought up West's new allegation of an autism diagnosis, which Charlamagne characterized as just another attention-seeking ploy, per Complex.

Charlamagne continued by saying: "That's just attention seeking, he's doing that because he's envious of Kendrick's moment. He wishes this was him, because Kendrick is having a moment for being a prolific artist who took out his number one opp, Drake."

"Kanye wishes that was him in this moment, so he's been doing all these antics for attention all week because he's trying to get people to do exactly what they're doing right now, and that's talking about him," he added.

"But Kanye, that is a sideshow compared to what Kendrick did on Sunday at the Grammys and what Kendrick is going to do this Sunday at the Super Bowl," Charlamagne said.

Lamar won five Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year, during the February 2 ceremony. Moreover, he will be the first hip-hop artist to perform solo in the Super Bowl halftime show on February 9.

Charlamagne noted that West's previous actions, which he called "cheap" and intended to steal the show, stood in sharp contrast to Lamar's success. He felt that West was trying to refocus public attention with his recent outbursts.

Hilarious earlier remarked that West "brought a raw chicken wing on the red carpet" as he walked the Grammys red carpet with his wife, Bianca Censori, who wore a complete see-through dress.

She went on to say that she believes West and Censori's relationship must be "cheap" because of how less she appears to wear in public.

"You using the right word, Jess: cheap. All these antics are cheap. Meanwhile, you got people on that stage being rewarded for their art the way that you used to, Kanye...Kendrick Lamar got rewarded five times for a diss record to your number one opp," Charlamagne said.

"You wish that was you. We don't care, Kanye. ... I don't care that you're a billionaire, there's plenty of corny-a** billionaires," he added.

Kanye West once again embraced antisemitism in his latest posts on X

In his most recent posts on X, West has once again embraced antisemitism. He often used the f-slur and outright called himself "a Nazi" in his tweets.

Moreover, he demanded that Donald Trump free his "brother" Diddy, who has been the target of countless lawsuits accusing him of sexual misconduct.

"I stood up for Puff and I'm still winning 20 Grammies next year and doing the Super Bowl," he stated in one tweet. He also advertised a Yeezy partnership with Sean John.

Meanwhile, Lamar is still in charge of the 2025 music scene. Lamar will perform at the Super Bowl halftime show on February 9 after winning a Grammy. His next performance is eagerly awaited and will solidify his place among the most significant hip-hop musicians.

Netizens react to Charlamagne tha God's claims against Kanye West

Social media users offered their opinions on Charlamagne's assertions that West is reportedly envious of Lamar's success as one X user wrote, "Kanye West will be remembered as one of the greatest artists who destroyed his own legacy."

A second X user added, "Feels like a stretch. Kanye’s got a history of doing Kanye things—doubt he’s sitting around envying anyone. Sometimes chaos is just his comfort zone."

"Yeah feel like he's trying to take the spotlight off Kendrick but all he has to do is diss Drake and he'll get some shine," a third user remarked.

Another added, "I believe this is the correct reason for all his posts as well. Pure jealousy. @kanyewest never getting a SB show in his lifetime."

"Seems like he just wants his moment, but it’s kinda sad how far he’s gone for it," said one.
