LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The recent arrest of Jasveen Sangha, infamously known as the "Ketamine Queen of Los Angeles," has unveiled stunning details involving the overdose and death of beloved actor Matthew Perry.

At the heart of the case is Brooke Mueller, the ex-wife of Charlie Sheen, who turned informant, providing crucial evidence to federal authorities that ultimately led to Sangha's arrest.

Brooke Mueller: The unlikely informant

Brooke Mueller, once a prominent figure in Hollywood due to her marriage to Charlie Sheen, found herself entangled in a federal investigation that would bring down a notorious drug ring.

Mueller's involvement came to light after law enforcement officials seized her laptop and iPhone from a sober living facility where she resided alongside Matthew Perry, the star of the iconic TV show 'Friends'. According to sources, these devices contained critical evidence that linked Sangha and others to Perry's fatal overdose.

The investigation was a coordinated effort involving the Los Angeles Police Department, the US Postal Service, and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).

Their combined efforts led to the arrest of Sangha, who was charged with supplying the ketamine that resulted in Perry's overdose on October 28, 2023. Mueller, Sangha, and Perry had all lived in the same sober living facility at one point.

Mueller's ties to the case extend beyond her personal relationship with Perry. She shares twin sons, Bob and Max, with Charlie Sheen, a fact that further intertwines her with Hollywood's elite. Additionally, Mueller was friends with Erik Fleming, a former film director and producer who became embroiled in the drug trade.

Fleming, who once directed Scarlett Johansson and Eva Mendes in a 1999 children's movie, later fell from grace and pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and distribution of ketamine resulting in death and serious bodily injury.

Despite her close connections to those implicated, Mueller managed to escape charges in the investigation. Law enforcement officials were able to obtain a probable cause search warrant to confiscate her electronic devices in March 2024. Following the raid, Mueller chose to cooperate with authorities, volunteering "incriminating information" about her former friends.

A source close to the investigation confirmed to Radar Online that Mueller was indeed a "rat," a term used to describe someone who turns informant to avoid their own culpability. “Yes. Brooke Mueller was a rat. She was questioned multiple times and ended up cooperating," they said.

Though she did not testify before a grand jury nor receive formal immunity, Mueller provided vital information under an informal non-prosecution agreement. “The investigators would never have been able to build their case against those charged if it wasn’t for the information Brooke provided them, both on her devices and in voluntary interviews," the source added.

The evidence gathered from Mueller's devices, coupled with the information she provided during voluntary interviews, was instrumental in building the case against Sangha and her associates. Without Mueller's cooperation, investigators might not have been able to secure the arrests and charges that followed.

The source explained, "The investigators would never have been able to build their case against those charged if it wasn’t for the information Brooke provided them, both on her devices and in voluntary interviews."

As the investigation progressed, more details about Sangha's operations came to light. Law enforcement officials conducted a raid on Sangha's North Hollywood home, uncovering a trove of illicit substances, cash, and firearms.

"During the search, law enforcement seized significant quantities of illegal drugs, including approximately 1,978 grams of orange pills that field tested positive for methamphetamine, 79 bottles containing a clear liquid that field tested positive for ketamine and various other suspect narcotics," DEA agent Tyler Abrego wrote in a criminal complaint following the raid.

Text messages and videos found on Sangha's confiscated devices revealed the extent of her drug operation, which targeted Hollywood's elite. She was depicted as the mastermind behind the distribution of these deadly substances, which ultimately caused Perry's untimely death.

Perry was found unresponsive in the hot tub of his Los Angeles home. Paramedics arrived on the scene, but it was too late - Perry was declared dead shortly after. The autopsy report, released in December 2023, revealed that the amount of ketamine in Perry’s blood was consistent with levels used for general anesthesia during surgery.
