ChatGPT predicted King Charles' unease two days before hospitalization for cancer treatment side effects

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: King Charles was hospitalized on Thursday, March 27, for "temporary side effects" from his ongoing cancer treatment.
Amid this, a new report has claimed that ChatGPT had already predicted the issue with the British monarch two days before his hospital admission.
Before his hospitalization, he made an appearance with his wife, Queen Camilla, to mark the launch of The Queen's Reading Room medal on Tuesday. The pair hosted a reception for members of the literary community, authors, and representatives from The Queen’s Reading Room at Clarence House.

ChatGPT said King Charles was 'present but slightly detached' during event
Greta Heggeness, senior editor of PureWow, claimed that the 76-year-old monarch's body language was not normal during Tuesday's event.
She took the help of OpenAI's artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT to decode his body language and posture, and it said, "King Charles III’s body language in this image conveys a mix of attentiveness, reservation and perhaps mild discomfort."

"His hands are in his pockets, which can indicate composure and patience. He may be maintaining a calm, observant stance. He stands slightly behind Camilla, allowing her to take the central role in the moment. This suggests he is there in a supportive capacity rather than as the main speaker," the AI tool stated.
It also mentioned that "King Charles’s body language in this image suggests that he is present and attentive but slightly detached," apparently hinting at his unwellness.
King Charles said he was 'positive about his treatment' after cancer diagnosis
The 76-year-old was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024, but he soon resumed his duties following a stay in the hospital.
At the time, an official statement said, "During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer."

"The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure. He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible," it added.
In December 2024, the palace said that Charles' treatment has been "moving in a positive direction" and that it will continue into 2025.
King Charles required a 'short period of observation' during his recent hospital stay
Now, regarding his recent stay, Buckingham Palace shared that Charles needed "a short period of observation in hospital."
"His majesty’s afternoon engagements were therefore postponed. His majesty has now returned to Clarence House and as a precautionary measure, acting on medical advice, tomorrow’s diary programme will also be rescheduled," a spokesperson added, as reported by The Guardian.
