Sources informed TMZ that Cher's only concern right now is for her son's well-being, and the singer is doing everything she can to get him the help he needs.
The outlet reported that it's unclear what drugs Elijah was using.
Elijah’s father was Gregg Allman, whom Cher was married to from 1975 to 1979. He died from complications of liver cancer at 69 in May 2017.

Elijah has dealt with substance abuse issues since childhood.
He told Entertainment Tonight in 2014 that he started using drugs when he was 11.
"I [was] just looking to escape all the things in my past and, that’s when you turn to those kind of drugs, you know heroin and opiates," Elijah said at the time.

He added, "[Heroin] kind of saved me. If I didn’t have that at that point, I don’t know what I would have done. You may jump off a bridge. If you can only just go through that time period and live through it and then get help."
Moreover, he recalled having "some close calls and some moments of really feeling at the edge of mortality."
Cher withdrew her bid for conservatorship over son Elijah Blue Allman in 2024
Cher withdrew her bid for conservatorship over Elijah Blue Allman in September 2024, ending nearly a year-long legal battle.
The veteran singer filed for the conservatorship in December 2023, citing concerns over his son's struggles with drug addiction and his ability to manage his finances, according to the Daily Mail.
She argued that her son's past struggles with addiction, combined with mental and physical health issues, made him incapable of managing the $120,000 annual payout from a trust fund set up by his late father, per the outlet.
At the time, Cher also expressed fear that Elijah would use his quarterly $30,000 distributions to buy drugs, putting his life at risk.
However, the two reportedly reached an agreement and decided to put an end to their bitter feud. During a Zoom hearing at the Los Angeles Superior Court, Judge Jessica Uzcategui formally dismissed Cher’s petition for conservatorship.
The judge told the lawyers representing both parties, "Congratulations to all of you."
