Chris Pratt and wife Katherine Schwarzenegger 'overjoyed' to welcome third child together
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Chris Pratt and his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, have officially expanded their family, welcoming a third child, a baby boy, on Friday, November 8.
The couple, who married in 2019, are now parents to a son, Ford Fitzgerald Pratt, along with their two daughters, Lyla and Eloise.

Katherine Schwarzenegger shared the happy news on social media on Monday, November 11, with a heartfelt announcement and expressed gratitude for the new addition to their family.
"We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Pratt," Schwarzenegger captioned her post on Instagram.
"Mama and baby are doing well, and Ford's siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful. Love Katherine and Chris," the couple wrote in a joint statement.

The 45-year-old 'Jurassic World' star and 34-year-old Schwarzenegger share two daughters: Lyla, four, and Eloise, two.
Pratt also has a 12-year-old son, Jack, from his previous marriage with Anna Faris. The couple previously kept the baby's gender a surprise, opting to wait until the birth to find out.

In July, Katherine Schwarzenegger announced her pregnancy on Instagram with a photo showing her baby bump, dressed in pink plaid maternity overalls.

During an October interview on 'Today', Pratt touched on the anticipation of their baby's gender, saying, "We don't know. I've got my son Jack and then the two girls."
"So, we don't know. We wait," he said. Despite keeping it a mystery, Pratt shared a playful intuition, adding, "I have a feeling. I have an intuition, but I won’t say what it is now in case I’m wrong and that child sees this. One day child, you'll know. I knew."

Earlier this year, in a May interview with E! News, Chris Pratt shared his joy about raising children, describing them as "cute and they're wonderful."
"They're sweet, polite, kind, joyous little angels, and I love them," Pratt shared in the interview.

'The Tomorrow War' actor also noted a shift in parenting styles, saying, "I grew up, I did exactly what my parents said all the time. I never knew I could say 'no' to my parents."
He added, "And now I'm a guy who didn't have a super healthy grip on his own emotions. So we're trying to raise them in a way that they feel comfortable expressing themselves."
Chris Pratt says girls are 'more emotional'
Acknowledging the unique bond he shares with his daughters, Chris Pratt said, "I hate to make generalizations based on gender but, in my experience, girls are more emotional. They've got me wrapped around their finger. It's wild."
Pratt and Schwarzenegger began dating in 2018, after being set up by her mother, Maria Shriver, as per People.
They married in June 2019 and welcomed their first daughter, Lyla, in 2020, followed by their second daughter, Eloise, in May 2022.
