Chris Rock sparks plastic surgery rumors after 'Saturday Night Live' hosting gig
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Chris Rock made his fourth appearance as host of 'Saturday Night Live' on December 13, delivering sharp one-liners on everything from politics to pop culture.
Naturally, the Emmy-winning comedian had plenty to say about President-elect Donald Trump and the state of America, but it wasn’t his punchlines that got everyone talking this time—it was his face.
Internet speculates Chris Rock has had plastic surgery following 'Saturday Night Live' appearance
Forget his monologue or the skits—viewers seemed laser-focused on Chris Rock's appearance. X (formerly Twitter) lit up with theories that the 59-year-old comic had gone under the knife.
"What did Chris Rock do to his face?" one asked, sharing a screenshot that launched a thousand speculations.

Another quipped, "Chris Rock’s plastic surgeon needs their license revoked," while a person commented, "Right! The brows are crazy! Not to mention the cheek implants! Crazy!"
"Look, I’m not afraid to ask the DIFFICULT questions… What is going on with Chris Rock’s face???" an individual inquired.
"Make up, lighting or maybe it’s just little round marbles for cheek implants," someone else wrote, to which the previous commenter replied, "He’s got more filler in his face than a pallet of Twinkies."

Some viewers took a more measured approach, suggesting that Rock's "new look" could simply be a product of aging or harsh stage lighting.
"Chris Rock will be 60 years old in February. He just looks a little older now," one person noted, to which a viewer responded, "Look, I’m not an expert, but that would mean he’s aging differently than every human in the history of humans being alive."

Having said that, back in 2018, while promoting his movie 'The Week Of' with Adam Sandler, the comedian joked while speaking to Extra: "I had a lot of plastic surgery. Got my ears worked on. These are some of the tightest ears in the business."
Chris Rock 'Saturday Night Live' episode highlights and the Australian party fiasco
Chris Rock's return to 'Saturday Night Live' also included a surprise cameo from Adam Sandler, who popped up in a sketch as a patient waking up mid-surgery. (Ironically, Rock played the doctor.)
In another skit, Rock portrayed a mall elf giving parents the uncomfortable choice between a White Santa (James Austin Johnson) and a Black Santa (Devon Walker) for their children to take pictures with.
Rock also made waves recently for an entirely different reason—his abrupt exit from an Australian billionaire’s holiday bash.
According to reports, the 'Selective Outrage' star cut his set short because his material wasn’t child-friendly and audience members were recording despite a strict no-filming policy.
"Chris did leave the stage that night," a source told the Daily Mail. "His routine was not suitable for children. Coupled with the fact that people were filming when it was agreed that it would not be recorded led to his decision to end the performance."
"But he did not storm out nor did he disrespect anyone. He simply decided to end this because it was not the content he believed children should be exposed to," they added.
