Fans of Billie Eilish and Cillian Murphy are reigniting discussions online after an old photo of the actor was shared on X. On February 12, X user @eduardoirib sparked the conversation by posting an unearthed image and asking, "Billie Eilish? No, it's Cillian Murphy, in 2006." 

What prompted fans to compare the appearances of the actor and singer? According to the Irish star, it’s their notable facial features that sparked the comparison. The first similarity is that both are said to have pouty lips and pale blue eyes.

Murphy and Eilish have pale skin, pouty lips, and piercing blue eyes. Additionally, they share high cheekbones, a feature often associated with attractiveness in both men and women. Their strong, flat eyebrows also contribute to their similar looks, with an arch close to 14 degrees that helps frame their faces perfectly. 

The comparison between the two first gained attention when Billie Eilish debuted her blonde look on the cover of British Vogue, drawing even more comparisons due to her striking resemblance to Murphy.

As the internet buzzes over the duo's facial similarities, cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian de Silva weighed in, stating, "Billie and Cillian’s facial proportions are in line with the golden ratio which quantifies their objective beauty." She further explained, "Their symmetry and alignment of features makes them appear more attractive."

A recent post showcasing an unearthed image of Cillian Murphy has left fans confused. One user even agreed with the post, commenting "So similar" in Portuguese, accompanied by five shocked emojis. 

Previously, when the duo's facial similarities were discussed, several online users quickly shared their thoughts. 

One user simply wrote, "twinning," while another asked, "Twins?" 

On Reddit, one user explained, "The eyes and facial structure are very similar but the nose seems different enough to rule out it being the same person." 

Another noted, "Kinda similar eyes and mouth...totally different nose." 

One user pointed out, "The default identifier for more people is the area around the eyes. Those features are very similar in both of them. Elisha does have fuller lips, but their bone structure is very similar."
