LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Clint Eastwood’s longtime partner Christina Sandera's cause of death has been revealed.
According to the Monterey County Health Department, the 61-year-old passed away due to a heart attack on July 18.
What did Christina Sandera’s death certificate reveal?
Christina Sandera’s death certificate mentions the immediate cause as cardiac arrhythmia, which is an abnormality in the timing or pattern of the heartbeat.
Atherosclerotic coronary artery disease was highlighted as a possible condition that added to Sandera’s death.
The Oscar-winning actor and filmmaker revealed the tragic news of his longtime partner's death at the age of 61 on Thursday, July 18.
"Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much," Eastwood said.
A Warner Bros representative informed that no more details on Sandera's death would be provided while Eastwood was in private mourning.

Earlier, MEAWW reported, on Clint Eastwood and Christina Sandera’s longtime relationship, and shared the two met for the first time at a restaurant in Eastwood's hotel, where Sandera was working as a hostess, the Mission Ranch, in Carmel, California.
Though their relationship started in 2014, the couple made their red carpet debut at the 2015 Oscars where Eastwood’s ‘American Sniper’ was a major nominee.
They kept their relationship low-profile initially, but then were frequently walked down the red carpet together. This included the premieres for ‘Sully’ in 2016, ‘The Mule’ in 2018, ‘The 15:17 to Paris’ in 2018 and ‘Richard Jewell’ in 2019.
Following the passing of Sandera, Eastwood’s youngest daughter Morgan shared a heartfelt message for her father's late partner, per the New York Post.
Taking to her Instagram Story, the 27-year-old wrote, “A devastating loss for our whole family.”
Sharing a picture of her with her husband, Eastwood and Sandera, she continued, “Thank you Christina for being a good partner to my Dad. you will be greatly missed.”
Eastwood has been married twice, to model Maggie Johnson, with whom he tied the knot in 1953, and split in 1964, reported The Hollywood Review.
His second wife was TV news anchor Dina Ruiz from 1996 until their 2014 divorce. The ‘Cry Macho’ started dating Sandera the same year, per reports.
The 94-year-old’s other partners include Roxanne Tunis, Sondra Locke, Jacelyn Reeves, and Frances Fisher.
Eastwood’s 40th film as a director, ‘Juror No 2', is in post-production, after its initial announcement in April 2023.
