Colin Cowherd draws flak after blasting 'insecure men' who point fingers at Taylor Swift for ruining NFL
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift is gaining widespread support from both fans and celebrities regarding her NFL attendance. Sports talk show host Colin Cowherd recently defended Swift against those blaming her for ruining NFL, asserting that only 'insecure men' hold her responsible.
Despite Cowherd's defense, social media users criticized him for supporting Swift and her NFL attendance, particularly during matches involving Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Surprising her fans, conservative commentator Tomi Lahren, who previously criticized Swift, has also expressed support for the singer. Lahren defended Swift's right to attend NFL games, marking a shift from her earlier 'braindead' label.
Adding to the positive reception, Swift's boyfriend, Travis also openly shared on 'The Pat McAfee Show' how much he appreciates Swift's presence at his matches, bringing joy to Swifties.
Colin Cowherd expresses support for Taylor Swift regarding her NFL appearances
According to People, Cowherd labeled men not embracing Swift's impact on the NFL as 'weird, lonely', and 'insecure' during a recent monologue on 'The Herd'.
Expressing frustration, Cowherd criticized those trolling Swift for her relationship with Chiefs tight end Kelce, as reported by People Magazine.
Cowherd, as per People stated, “There’s a lot of really weird, lonely, insecure men out there. The fact that the world's biggest pop star is dating a star tight end, who had one of his greatest games ever, and a network puts them on the air briefly, that it bothers you, what does that say about your life?"
He emphasized that football broadcasts involve more than just the game, citing "Just 18 minutes are actual football. About the length of five Taylor Swift songs.”

As reported by People, Cowherd compared Swift's presence at NFL games to that of Drake and other artists, stating that "A talented and beautiful woman is on the air — one who would never pay attention to lonely men — and it bothers them."
Continuing his monologue, Cowherd, according to People magazine, highlighted a discomforting statistic about some men's lack of intimacy with women, attributing their anger and resentment to this.
He concluded, "This anger says nothing about Taylor Swift. It says everything about the men bothered by it," as per People.
