Travis Kelce was ready to leave Chiefs training to be with Taylor Swift after concert terror threat
VIENNA, AUSTRIA: Distance makes hearts grow fonder, but in this case, it just made Travis Kelce’s heart grow more anxious!
After it was reported that Taylor Swift’s three concerts in the Austrian city of Vienna were canceled due to the now-thwarted plans of terrorist attacks, it has been said that “concerned” Travis Kelce was the first one to comfort the pop diva.
As the NFL season approaches, Kelce is back at training camp, although he was reportedly ready to put his training on hold to visit the European city to comfort his lady love.
Travis Kelce was ready to comfort Taylor Swift
Earlier this week, the Austrian authorities thwarted a terrorist attack at the Ernst Happel Stadium during one of Swift’s concerts. The ‘Lover’ singer was scheduled to perform there on August 8, 9 and 10.
Two teenage suspects were arrested after the foiled attack, but all of her three shows were canceled because of the threat.
However, the cancelation and the tense situation surrounding the shows’ cancelations left Swift heartbroken and agitated. However, she had her boyfriend comfort her during all the agitating times.
A source close to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, recently shared with The US Sun, that Kelce was continuously on a phone call to comfort the Grammy winner during the dire situation.
The insider shared, "Travis contacted Taylor very fast and talked with her for a while to show support and see how she was feeling with that tense situation.”
"You can tell that he was helping her feel better and made her laugh, to make this situation and the day she went through end up on a more fun note,” added the source.
They continued, "He always wants to make her laugh, and he loves to hear her laugh and feel good. After a day that intense and this scary situation, he was doing everything to make her feel better."

Travis Kelce was ready to fly to Austria for Taylor Swift
After Travis Kelce voiced his desire to support Taylor Swift in her European leg of the Eras Tour, the celebrity couple spent the better part of summer with each other as Kelce was a constant presence during much of her shows.
However, he left for the USA for an NFL training camp a few weeks ago, thus creating a huge physical distance between them. Nevertheless, the Super Bowl winner is always available on the phone for the ‘Lavender Haze’ songstress.
The source shared, "It’s not easy to deal with that distance, and he wants to be very supportive and [let her know] that she can count on him.”
They continued, "He has one of his phones always right next to him when he goes to sleep in case she needs to talk to him, and they did spend some long hours on the phone yesterday as it’s not a common situation to deal with, and he always wants to be Taylor’s rock and best fan and number one supporter whatever happens.”

"He was feeling relieved that the concerts got canceled, as it’s the best decision to be taken in this kind of context,” added the source.
The insider further dished that despite his training camp underway, Kelce was ready to board a flight to Vienna to support Swift.
The source shared, "He even suggested flying to Austria to be there for her if she wanted him to do so, even if it was for a day or two, but Taylor is going to keep working and focus on the next dates, with the London concert, to wrap up the Euro part in the best way.”
"That was a bit of a crisis moment because you never know how to deal with that, and having the concerts canceled isn’t common or frequent at all, as this kind of situation with a terrorist threat is very scary and has to be taken seriously to keep everyone safe,” added the source.
After the cancelation of the shows, Swift is taking some days off before she will be heading back to London for her next shows in the Wembley Stadium. She is dedicating herself to making the London leg of her Eras Tour as memorable as it was before the threat.
