'Cute and wholesome': Internet hails Taylor Swift's elementary teachers who recount her 'special quality'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: There were signs everywhere! Taylor Swift has just dropped her 11th studio album and everyone, including her elementary music teacher, is proud of the megastar.
Though the music world had to wait for a few years, Barbara Kolvek saw the future in Taylor already.
"She always was writing poetry — always — even in music class, even when she shouldn't," revealed Kolvek.
What did Taylor's elementary teachers say on her budding talent?
The woman who gave Taylor ‘her very first singing solo,’ added that the two stayed in touch for a while.
"I feel like maybe I gave her a little spark or encouragement to do what she was doing," Kolvek said.
Swift's third-grade teacher joined in, talking about Swift's ‘special quality.’
"You always remember every student from the quality they have. Taylor's quality was just being she was one of those students where people just drew to," Heather Brown told CBS Philadelphia.
Brown shared that she still sends Christmas cards to her former student, but admitted that "she probably doesn't get the messages anymore."
The teacher, who is "just so excited to see what comes next," further said, "When she comes out on stage and everyone's screaming 'Taylor,' it's like, oh my gosh, like I was her teacher."
After releasing her ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ album, Taylor created multiple records, including becoming the most streamed artist in one day and the artist with the most streamed album in one day on Spotify.
Describing her new album, Taylor called it "an anthology of new works that reflect events, opinions, and sentiments from a fleeting and fatalistic moment in time - one that was both sensational and sorrowful in equal measure."
