LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Despite keeping their relationship largely private, Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin have been romantically linked since 2017.

The couple first sparked dating rumors in 2017 when Johnson was spotted attending a Coldplay concert.
They later confirmed their romance in 2018 by holding hands at a Stella McCartney fashion show.
Over the years, they've opted to keep their relationship out of the spotlight and haven't made an official red carpet debut together.
Some reports suggest that they might have been engaged since 2020 as Johnson was spotted wearing a huge ring at the time, according to People.
Even as they declined to comment, the source told the publication it was indeed an engagement ring.

Johnson said, "I've gotten to this place where I really want to experience everything that life has to offer. And especially being a woman, I'm like, 'What a magical f*****g thing to do. What a crazy, magical, wild experience."
"If that's meant to happen to me, I'm totally down for it," Johnson continued, adding, "And then I'm like, 'We're not here for very long, so if I'm meant to be a mother, bring it on.'"

Previously, Johnson's father, Don Johnson, playfully deflected questions about the rumored engagement during a talk show appearance, prioritizing his daughter's happiness above all else.
"Oh god. I don't think much further than about the next seven or eight seconds," Don said at the time on 'Good Day New York.'
He added, "But listen, if she's happy, I will be happy, and he's a lovely guy."
He continued, "And if she decides to get married, I would imagine that there would be grandchildren not too far out for that. I'd be pretty excited about that part."
Despite occasional bumps in the road, the couple has also offered glimpses into their happiness.
In 2022, Martin adorably crashed Johnson's Sundance Film Festival Zoom event to help her with technical difficulties.
Additionally, Martin's ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he shares daughter, Apple, 19, and son Moses, 17, has publicly praised Johnson, calling her "an adorable, wonderful person," as per People.
