Addressing Stephen Colbert's mispronunciation of Daniel Craig's name, the former James Bond actor said, "I have a bone to pick with you.”
“You have a bone to pick?” a surprised Colbert, 60, asked after Craig’s admission.
Craig nodded and asked Colbert to pronounce his name on the spot.
When the host correctly said “Cr-ayg,” Craig laughed and pointed out the discrepancy.
“Oh, now you’re doing it right,” he quipped, according to Page Six.

Daniel Craig took the opportunity to explain the error, highlighting the diphthong, a word that combines two vowels in a single syllable.
The actor clarified that his name is pronounced “Cr-ayg,” not “Cr-egg,” as Colbert had been saying in prior appearances.
“Ooh, I hear the difference,” Colbert acknowledged, adding, “That is subtle. That is a subtle difference, and I apologize.”
Craig appeared to graciously accept the apology, responding with a smile, “OK, thank you.”

Stephen Colbert kept the moment playful, joking, “I don’t want Daniel Cr-ayg mad at me.”
As the audience laughed, the late-night host added, “Daniel Cr-egg? F**k that guy!”
The banter continued with Colbert extending a handshake and apologizing again, asking, “Hold on a second, have I been doing that for six shows?”
Craig humorously replied, “Six shows, it’s fine! It’s just fine, whatever.”
Colbert then joined in on the self-deprecating humor by intentionally mispronouncing his own last name as “Cole-bert” instead of “Cole-bear,” which left the audience laughing.

Daniel Craig also teased his upcoming projects, including his third outing as detective Benoit Blanc in 'Wake Up Dead Man', the next installment in the 'Knives Out' franchise.
The film, slated for release in 2025, boasts another star-studded cast, which includes Josh Brolin and Glenn Close.
“I’m just amazed when Rian [Johnson] says to me, ‘Josh Brolin’s going to do it, and Glenn Close is going to do it.’ I’m like, bring it on. It’s amazing,” said Craig.
The actor shared his enthusiasm for the franchise’s playful spirit, describing his role as a “court jester” on set and adding, “Everyone comes to have some fun.”
When asked about the series’ future, Craig said, “As long as Rian keeps writing them, I’ll keep doing them," according to Daily Mail.
