WASHINGTON,DC: Fox News contributor David Webb analyzed the potential impact of George Clooney's opinion piece calling on President Joe Biden to resign.

Webb said on 'Fox & Friends First' on July 11 that President Biden's problems have been going on for more than three weeks, and he called Clooney a "coward" for only now recognizing them.

David Webb blasts Joe Biden's family for sacrificing him for power

During the conversation on Fox News David Webb said, "Remember what I said, this is Biden. He's in it. Jill is going to keep him there. And by the way, this is a dysfunctional family that's willing to sacrifice a family member on the altar of power."

"And this is what we have to realize. Clooney's a coward because Clooney knew this. What's happened to Joe Biden didn't happen in the last three weeks," he added.

He said, "If you break your leg one day, you were fine the day before, and that was three weeks ago. This is not a broken leg. This has been a growing problem with an addled president."

George Clooney asks Joe Biden to withdraw from 2024 race

In a op-ed for the New York Times on July 10, George Clooney called on President Joe Biden to withdraw from the race for 2024. This came shortly after a fundraiser where Clooney raised millions for the Democratic candidate.

"It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe ‘big F-ing deal’ Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate," Clooney wrote.

"Was he tired? Yes. A cold? Maybe. But our party leaders need to stop telling us that 51 million people didn’t see what we just saw. We’re all so terrified by the prospect of a second Trump term that we’ve opted to ignore every warning sign," he added.

Clooney has joined a growing group of Hollywood elites and big donors who have withdrawn their support for Biden after the debate. His wavering, weak and occasionally confused performance has caused concern among his supporters.

Party members, political allies and members of the liberal media are also urging the president to withdraw from the race, warning that he may not be able to defeat former President Donald Trump.

Internet slams Joe and Jill Biden

Social media users expressed their anger at POTUS and the First Lady.  One wrote with a broken heart emoji, "What a family But it shows he is not the man of the house and he want to continue being a leader.. Trump is the man."

Another user added talking about Joe Biden and wife Jill Biden, "They both have to go...just want the power.......noting to do with helping our country."

The third commentator wrote, "A despicable family. All of them."

"This is sad that his wife is ok with all of this were she should be more concerned about his health instead of what she is wanting," a person remarked.
