NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs had a forgettable outing on Sunday, February 9, after their devastating loss to the Philadephia Eagles 40-22 in the Super Bowl 2025 final.
After the game, many Chiefs players were spotted dejected and had a grim on their faces. However, the limelight was mostly on Travis Kelce, who also fought back tears and was later spotted leaving the locker room at Caesars Superdome to join beau Taylor Swift in the VIP box.

Travis Kelce leaves locker room to join Taylor Swift In VIP box
In the viral clip, according to Perez Hilton, Travis Kelce could be seen leaving the locker rooms in the Caesars Superdome to join his loved ones in Taylor Swift's VIP suite.
The Chiefs star could be seen looking around with a dejected expression on his face before leaving the hallway. His mom, Donna Kelce, and big brother Jason Kelce were alongside Swift to comfort Travis, per the outlet.

On Sunday, the Eagles avenged their Super Bowl LVII loss from the Chiefs two years ago by winning their second Super Bowl title.
Notably, Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes also had a forgettable night as he was sacked six times and recorded three turnovers as his team's hopes of becoming the first team in Super Bowl history to three-peat shattered, according to the New York Times.

In the post-game press conference, Patrick Mahomes praised Travis Kelce's impact on the Chiefs and the league, adding that the tight end has been a joy to play with and watch.
He said about Kelce's retirement plan, "I’ll let Travis make that decision on his own, man. He’s given so much to this team and to the NFL and been such a joy, not only for me to work with but for people to watch."
He mentioned that Travis Kelce still has plenty to offer on the field. He said, "He knows he still has a lot of football left in him. You can see it. He always makes plays in the biggest moments, but it’s if he wants to put in that grind because it’s a grind to go out there and play 20 games and get to the Super Bowl."
Travis Kelce fights back tears after Super Bowl 2025 loss
Travis Kelce fought back tears while returning to the Kansas City Chiefs locker room after a forgetful evening in New Orleans on Sunday.
The tight end had a dejected expression on his face after Kansas City's hopes of winning three straight titles were broken by the Eagles.
Kelce told reporters in the locker room after the game, "Hats off to the Eagles, man. We couldn't get it going offensively. We just couldn't find that spark, couldn't find that momentum."
He added that he thought the Chiefs might win the game at halftime.. He stated, "100% believed. Never lose doubt. This team is going to fight to the end forever. I think there was a lot of things going wrong."
