LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The rap sensation Lil Uzi Vert seems to be bidding farewell to the music world. He's declared a profound shift from rap to fashion design, citing a desire to relieve himself from the pressures of album production and pursue a new avenue crafting women's clothing.

Lil Uzi Vert revealed his transition from music to fashion

In an interview with TMZ at Terminal 27 in Los Angeles earlier this week, Uzi said his upcoming album 'LUV Is Rage 3' will be his last. “I still love making music, but I’ve lost my love for the craft,” he stated. “It makes sense...if you recall, it took tooth and painted nail to get my latest album off the ground," he said.

The rapper went on to explain that construction has already begun on a home office for his new women’s clothing company. He confirmed his girlfriend, JT, will not be involved in the creative process as she has her own fashion brand.

If Uzi does indeed retire after 'LUV Is Rage 3,' he would be leaving the rap game at his peak. This year alone he landed two #1 albums with his project 'Pink Tape' and a featured spot on Nicki Minaj’s 'Pink Friday 2'. He says he plans to release one final music video for their collaboration 'Everybody' before fully focusing on his clothing line.

Internet erupts with trolling in response to Lil Uzi Vert's claims

Following Uzi's bombshell announcement, the online world became a cauldron of varied reactions directed at the departing rapper. One Facebook user, pointing out Uzi's frequent announcements, remarked, "He literally says this after each new song he puts out, he said this 4 times this year after releasing 5 different songs."

In a succinct plea, another commenter expressed, "Please let him do so." Diving deeper, a third observer humorously queried, "Did he even start?" While someone else expressed relief, commenting, "Oh Thanks God, one less mumble noisy rapper."

Amidst the array of opinions, one user suggested, "That's cool. He should leave Hip-Hop to legends like Sexyy Red." "That lil girl trippin," a sixth user quipped.

Lil Uzi Vert offers fans to win replica of the $24 million diamond he implanted in forehead

Uzi recently made headlines for offering fans a chance to win a replica of the $24 million diamond he had implanted in his forehead a few years back. Uzi first showcased the extravagant 11-carat pink diamond forehead implant back in early 2021, claiming he had been making payments on the gem since 2017.

“This one Stone cost so much I’ve been paying for it since 2017,” Uzi explained at the time. “That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond. A lot of M’s in my face.” But later that year, Uzi ran into issues when a fan allegedly ripped out the pricey jewel during a concert. Though, he did eventually regain possession of the expensive original diamond.
