LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A recently published memoir claimed to be penned by late Kim Porter, ex-girlfriend of Sean 'Diddy' Combs, is being widely condemned by Combs' legal team and Porter's family, as reported by People.

The memoir, titled 'Kim's Last Words:  A Journey for Justice, from the Other Side...', is accused of being a fabricated account aimed at profiting from tragedy.

The book, which surfaced on Amazon on September 6, gained significant traction after Sean 'Diddy' Combs was indicted on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Despite its rise to the top of Amazon's Literature & Fiction list, the 58-page publication is filled with errors and shocking allegations of abuse by Combs and other celebrities.

Erica Wolf, Combs’ attorney, has strongly denounced the memoir as “fake,”offensive" and “shameless". She criticized the co-author, Chris Todd, who published the book under a pseudonym, for showing a lack of respect to Porter’s memory.

“Chris Todd has no respect for Ms Porter or her family, who deserve better,” Wolf said, emphasizing that Porter’s 2018 death was from natural causes, not the abuses described in the book.

Porter’s family is reportedly exploring legal options, with sources stating that the book is entirely fictional. They have expressed frustration over the emotional toll it has taken on her loved ones, including her four children, two of whom are minors.

A source close to the family clarified, "Kim Porter never authored a manuscript, and any claims suggesting otherwise are entirely false and fabricated."

"The baseless pages in the book not only misrepresent Ms Porter’s lived experience and legacy, but also continue to cause unnecessary distress to her loved ones. Kim Porter has four children, two of whom are still minors, and all of whom no longer have access to their father while he is detained awaiting trial. Chris Todd, who is credited as the publisher, has no connection to Kim Porter or her family."

'Kim's Last Words:  A Journey for Justice, from the Other Side...' was reportedly saved on a hard drive by Porter and sent to Los Angeles record producer Chris Todd, who later released it on September 6, using the pseudonym Jamal T Millwood. He is listed as co-writer along with Porter.

In an interview with People, Todd stood by his work, even while admitting he isn’t entirely sure of its accuracy. The memoir, 'Kim's Last Words:  A Journey for Justice, from the Other Side...' sparked outrage after it was published on Amazon earlier this month, detailing disturbing allegations against Combs.

“Do you think Chris Todd would risk his a** and rep on something that was fake??" Todd responded, speaking of himself in the third person.

In a different interview with Rolling Stone, Todd expressed, "If somebody put my feet to the fire and they said, ‘Life or death, is that book real?’ I have to say I don’t know. But it’s real enough to me.”

“Sometimes you have to just put it out there. Maybe not 100% of the book is true, but maybe 80% is. That is to get those people to come forward and either corroborate or deny [the claims], and that helps me as an investigator to know the truth.”

Todd suggested that while perhaps not every detail is accurate, he believes “maybe 80%” of the content could be true, leaving room for public figures mentioned to either corroborate or deny the claims.

R&B artist Al B Sure! has reignited interest in the circumstances surrounding the 2018 death of his former partner, Kim Porter, with a series of provocative posts on Instagram.

The singer, whose real name is Albert Joseph Brown, is calling for a renewed investigation into Porter’s death, challenging the official ruling of lobar pneumonia as the cause of death, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

In his posts, Brown suggests that there may be more to the story than what has been publicly disclosed. He draws alarming parallels between Porter’s situation and the recent lawsuit filed by singer Cassie Ventura against Sean 'Diddy' Combs, which includes serious allegations of abuse.

While Brown does not directly name Diddy in his accusations, the timing of his posts coming just a week after Diddy's arrest on unrelated federal charges—has only intensified speculation surrounding both men.

Brown's allegations imply that a conspiracy involving individuals close to Porter at the time of her death may have suppressed vital information, particularly related to her memoir. He claims that these individuals may have altered the contents of her manuscript to conceal damaging revelations.

Kim Porter was found dead in her Toluca Lake, California, home in November 2018. Initially, the coroner listed her cause of death as "deferred", but it was later ruled as lobar pneumonia.

Prior to her death, Porter had exhibited flu-like symptoms for several days.
