SEATTLE, WASHINGTON: Madonna has been hailed online after she did not let a stage mishap hamper her show.

The 65-year-old singer was performing ‘Open Your Heart’ at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena on Sunday, February 18, when one of her dancers tripped on stage, resulting in her fall too, PEOPLE reported.

Madonna continues singing despite fall

The incident happened when Madonna sat on a chair and the dancer started to drag the chair along with her.

But soon the person got imbalanced, seemingly because of the high heels, leading to their, as well as the Queen of Pop's collapse live in front of the audience.

The minor accident, however, was handled very gracefully by both Madonna as well as her dancer.

The ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker and her team continued to perform while people enjoyed and cheered.

Fans laud Madonna

Meanwhile, several people on social media sites praised Madonna for her “fabulousness”.

An X user commented, “💖Many should learn from her attitude instead of judging that dancer who tripped while running in heels.”

Another user shared, “Always the professional! I've seen a few tweets criticise the dancer for not going back to pick her up, but I believe the dancers are instructed to keep going if there's any mishaps…”

The third one wrote, “She's the Queen for a reason. 💪🏻”

“She's a master ventriloquist! She can fall, stare straight-faced, laugh AND continue singing the song at the same time without missing a beat!” the fourth user said.

“At least they made a lighthearted reaction to the incident. Anything can happen during a live show. She's still great at 65!” a tweet read.

A fan on Facebook noted, “She did Amazing! Tumble and all! 65 and fabulous! She's still got it!”

“Noticed she didn't miss a note singing. .yeah right,” another fan stated.

The third one added, “She is a pro. She is the Queen of pop for a reason.”

Concern for dancer

However, there were a few who showed concern for the dancer while hating on Madonna.

A critic tweeted, “This is far from professional. He slid on his high heeled shoe, then the second girl got stuck on her garter. Madonna isn’t in heels, it’s too dangerous for a heavy woman of her age.  She’s dubbed so she can just laugh about how sloppy this is.”

Another one asserted, “Those heels were too darn thin to run and pull along someone in a chair Darn heels.”
