Doja Cat addresses Joseph Quinn engagement rumors after flaunting ring at iHeartRadio Music Festival

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Doja Cat has finally addressed rumors of an engagement with Joseph Quinn. 

The 28-year-old rapper flaunted a ring on her left hand during her performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Saturday, September 21, sparking speculation that she might have said yes to the 'Stranger Things' actor.

On Sunday morning, Doja Cat, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, took to X (formerly Twitter) to write, "No, im not engaged its a David Yurman ring with no rocks in it," as per Page Six.

The post was, however, deleted soon after.

The publication reported that the talks of the rumored engagement started after a video of the singer performing her hit 'Agora Hills' at the iHeartRadio Music Festival surfaced online. She flaunted the bauble while singing, "Rub it in their face, put a rock on her hand."

An X user shared a clip of the moment writing, "Omg doja cat & joseph quinn got engaged."

An emotional fan wrote, "SHE’S ENGAGED??? AND WHILE PERFORMING AGORA HILLS??? oh doja don’t make me cry." 

One more said, "DOJA CAT IS ENGAGED TOO." 

A fan asked, "WHAT IS GOING ONNNN ARE THEY ACTUALLY ENGAGED ⁉️⁉️⁉️"

"Did @DojaCat just announce she’s engaged?!?! #iHeartFestival2024," wrote a fan who was taken by surprise. 

Another fan expressed, "Sorry… did Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn get engaged!??!?! Doja had a huge ring during that performance omg…. OMG. Like?!!??!? OKAYY!!!!!!"

In August, Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn seemingly went public with their romance as they were spotted enjoying a PDA-filled outing at Dingwalls, a popular music venue in Camden, London. They were also seen walking while holding hands during another outing.

Two years ago, the ‘Paint The Town Red’ hitmaker got involved in a fight with Quinn's ‘Stranger Things’ co-star Noah Schnapp after the latter leaked their private conversation.

Doja reportedly inquired about Quinn's relationship status with Schnapp, who made the DMs public.

She called him out during an Instagram Live video in July 2022, saying, "Maybe he is, like, a whole snake. But I didn’t see him that way. I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it and he went and shared information that I didn’t feel comfortable with him sharing."

Eventually, Schnapp posted on TikTok, "Guys everything is all good I apologized and I still follow her and love her music no hard feelings."
