NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Dolly Parton has invited Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to experience the magic of Dollywood, promising to treat the royal children like true VIPs during their visit to the Tennessee amusement park.

The country music legend, known for her warm hospitality, vowed to give the young royals the "best day ever" as they explore Dollywood and enjoy a royal treatment of their own. This generous offer comes a year after Parton had to decline an invitation from Kate Middleton to attend tea, due to her busy schedule promoting her rock album 'Rockstar'.

In an exclusive interview with Closer, Dolly Parton revealed her excitement over inviting Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to visit Dollywood, the amusement park located in her home state of Tennessee. "Oh, I would absolutely love for them to come to Dollywood, that would be fantastic! The kids could go on all the rides and we would treat them like royalty!"

Parton exclaimed. She also shared her plans for how she would host the royal children, explaining, "I’d give Kate my mashed potatoes — I wouldn’t put on any airs for them. I would just let them enjoy what we enjoy, and I’m sure that’s the way they would want it. I would love to have those kids at Dollywood."

During an interview with BBC Radio 2 in August 2023, Parton reflected on her decision to decline an invitation from Kate to have tea. "This time, Lordy, I even got invited to have tea with Kate. I felt so bad. And I felt so bad … I couldn’t even go! They had all this stuff set up. But I thought that was very sweet and nice of her to invite me to tea. One of these days, I’m going to be able to get to do that, wouldn’t that have been great?"

Dolly joked, adding, "But she wasn’t going to promote my rock album, so I had to say no. I hope she hears it though," as per People.

In her conversation with Closer, Dolly Parton opened up about some personal insights. She spoke warmly of her goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, who she considers family. Dolly explained that when Miley visits Nashville, the two enjoy spending time together, especially cooking at Dolly’s house. She said, "Miley is like family and we’re so close. When she comes to Nashville, we love to hang out at my house and cook together."

When asked about her new venture, Dolly Wines Rose and Prosecco in the UK, Dolly revealed that it was inspired by her passion for cooking. She believes that wine pairs perfectly with good food, much like fashion does. She explained, "The wine is great, because it goes with different things. And if you like good food and good wine, I think it all goes together just like fashion."

Dolly also reflected on her distinctive fashion sense, describing it as a blend of "Mother Goose, Cinderella, and the local h**ker." She laughed and added, "I say I’m more of an eyesore than an icon in some of the stuff I wear, I just really do believe that for myself and for everybody else, you should wear what you’re comfortable in, what fits your personality, what you feel good in."

Lastly, Dolly shared a valuable piece of wisdom passed down from her mother: "I guess my own mother gave me the best piece of advice – it was that old saying of to thine own self be true. I think that says so much more than just that. It’s like, be true to yourself, know who you are."
