NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Donald Trump Jr is scheduled to headline a Trump campaign fundraiser in Nashville, Tennessee, alongside Candace Owens, a far-right commentator known for her repeated 'antisemitic' statements, as per The Raw Story.

Owens, a fervent supporter of former President Donald Trump, has faced criticism for amplifying harmful stereotypes about Jews, downplaying the Holocaust, and defending white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

Owens has been a polarizing figure due to her inflammatory remarks and conspiracy theories. In recent months, she has endorsed the ancient blood libel against Jews and made statements minimizing the Holocaust.

These actions led to her departure from Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire in March, amid growing tensions over her increasingly antisemitic rhetoric and harsh criticism of Israel following the Hamas attacks on October 7.

The fundraiser also highlights the evolving dynamics within the Trump campaign. With Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner stepping back from prominent roles, Trump Jr appears to be exerting greater influence over his father’s campaign strategies.

This includes advocating for Senator JD Vance as a running mate, aiming to secure a successor aligned with Trump’s ideology.

The event, set for Friday evening, July 26, at the Westin Nashville, is co-sponsored by the Trump campaign and MAGAA (Make America Great Again, Again), a digital token supporting conservative messaging.

The fundraiser coincides with the annual Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, where Trump is also expected to speak. High-dollar tickets for the event, which will feature Owens, David Bailey of Bitcoin Inc, and former Trump official Camryn Kinsey, have drawn significant attention.

The announcement of Trump Jr's appearance with Owens sparked immediate backlash.

The Stop Anti-Semitism X account, known for calling out antisemitism across the political spectrum, was quick to condemn the event. "It’s no secret Candace Owens has dove head first into the antisemitic pool. For her to headline this event is horrifying - dump her from the lineup and don’t look back," the account penned.

The account also highlighted Owens' history of promoting antisemitic conspiracy theories, including a recent claim about a 'ring of Jews in Hollywood' engaged in "something quite sinister."

Following the uproar, Jewish Insider reported that Owens might no longer attend the event, although no official statement has been issued by Owens or her representatives.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 02: Donald Trump Jr. and his brother Eric Trump arrive at New York Supreme Court for former President Donald Trump's civil fraud trial on November 02, 2023 in New York City. Trump's children, Donald Jr., Eric and daughter Ivanka, are all expected to testify at their father's trial in the coming days. The former president may be forced to sell off his properties after Justice Engoron canceled his business certificates and ruled that he committed fraud for years while building his real estate empire after being sued by Attorney General Letitia James, seeking $250 million in damages. The trial will determine how much he and his companies will be penalized for the fraud. (Photo by David Dee Delgado/Getty Images)
