HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA: During a Fox News Town Hall on Wednesday, September 4, GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump alleged that there’s "something weird" about Democratic running mate Tim Walz while defending his own vice presidential pick, JD Vance.

Trump made these statements on the same day that additional family members of the Democratic VP nominee announced they would be voting for the GOP presidential candidate in November, per the Daily Mail.

Donald Trump claims ‘there’s something weird’ about Tim Walz

During the 'Town Hall,' Donald Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity, "There's something weird with that guy. JD is not weird, he's a solid rock. I happen to be a solid rock. We're not weird – we are other things perhaps, but we are not weird."

He added, "[Walz] is a weird guy. He walks onto stages – something's wrong with that guy, and he called me weird. And then the fake news media picks it up. That was the word of the day – weird, weird, weird. But we're not weird guys, we're very solid people."

During the interview, Trump was sidetracked by a mosquito that appeared to bother him on stage. He said, "I hate mosquitos. I’m surprised, I didn’t think we had... We don’t like those mosquitoes running around. We want nothing to do with them — and we want nothing to do with bad politicians that hate our country, too."

Tim Walz's family reportedly supports Donald Trump in 2024 election

On Wednesday, a photo surfaced featuring eight members of Tim Walz's family, revealing their support for Trump and their intention to vote for him in November.

This happened just days after Walz's older brother Jeff posted on Facebook, criticizing Tim Walz's "character" and suggesting Americans shouldn't want him in the White House, according to the Daily Mail.

Trump told Hannity, "I was so honored today. His brother endorsed me. And his whole family – I saw the picture. Honestly, it was a very nice-looking family. But his family endorsed me and the whole family endorsed me."

Trump posted on Truth Social that he looks forward to meeting Jeff Walz, who lives in Florida's Panhandle with his wife, Laurie.

Donald Trump blasts Kamala Harris' border policies

In most of his interview with Sean Hannity, Donald Trump concentrated on criticizing Kamala Harris’ border policies. He made several false assertions about migrants, claiming they are murderers, child traffickers, and drug dealers coming into the US from prisons, mental institutions, and “very bad places,” per the Independent.

Trump also promised the "largest deportation in the history of the country" if elected in November. He also slammed Harris' economic plan, contrasting it with his own proposal that includes tax cuts for high-income Americans. Harris, in turn, has unveiled a plan focused on benefits for the middle class and small businesses.

Trump issued a warning regarding her proposal, stating, "This country will end up in a depression if she becomes president, like in 1929. She has no idea what the hell she’s doing."

He also took a jab at Harris' father, Donald Harris, a professor emeritus at Stanford, labeling him a "Marxist teacher of economics." In recent weeks, Trump has repeatedly referred to Harris as a "Marxist" and a "communist."
