Trump stirs debate as he claims ‘Bidenflation’ has ‘left Black Americans behind’ ahead of barbershop event
WASHINGTON, DC: The Donald Trump campaign is ramping up its outreach to African-American voters ahead of the highly-anticipated faceoff between him and Joe Biden in Atlanta on Thursday, June 27. This push comes amid declining support for Biden among Black voters, as per New York Post.
Rocky’s Barbershop is set to host a notable gathering on Wednesday, June 26, at 1 pm, featuring key figures from Trump's circle.
However, the focus won't be on traditional barbershop talk. Instead, the event, dubbed the 'Black American Business Leaders Barbershop Roundtable', will spotlight Trump's 'No Tax on Tips' policy—a proposal particularly relevant to barbers, who often rely on tips to supplement their income.

Florida Representative Byron Donalds will moderate the discussion, which will include his congressional colleague Wesley Hunt of Texas, former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson, talk-show host Shelley Winter, and other local business leaders.
The roundtable will not only address the tax policy but also discuss broader issues central to Trump’s efforts to gain traction with Black voters—a demographic traditionally aligned with the Democratic Party.
"Trump took action to improve the lives of Black Americans by making investments in programs like Opportunity Zones that led to $75 billion in new private investment into distressed communities, and prioritized support for Historically Black Colleges and Universities," notes the campaign media advisory, indicating these policy achievements will be highlighted during the event.
According to Trump’s campaign, "Bidenflation" has "left Black Americans behind, burdened with higher prices and lower wages." They have also criticized Biden’s "pro-criminal and weak open border policies," claiming these have disproportionately harmed Black communities.
This barbershop event is just one of two planned for Wednesday. Later in the evening, Donalds and Hunt will lead the 'Cigars, Cognac, and Congress' event in Fairburn, with ESPN SportsCenter alum Sage Steele hosting the discussion.
Donalds and Hunt have been pivotal in Trump’s Black outreach efforts, organizing events in Philadelphia last month and planning another in Milwaukee to coincide with July’s Republican National Convention.
While Donalds and Hunt stop short of predicting an outright victory among Black voters, they believe their efforts could lead to a significant shift.
"We’re focusing on areas where we know we can peel off between 25% and 30% of the Black vote, which would make it mathematically impossible for Democrats to win," Hunt explained.

Lastly, a user user questioned, "Did Trump apologize yet to Central Park 5? Totally racist thing he did to them."
