Dwayne Johnson reveals the one hard thing he did to get Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour tickets
OAHU, HAWAII: Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson may be a larger-than-life Hollywood star and wrestling icon, but even he isn’t immune to the frenzy surrounding Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
The actor recently revealed that he had to pull some strings to secure tickets to the pop star’s iconic concert for a friend.
Swift’s globally successful Eras Tour is set to conclude this December in Vancouver.
Dwayne Johnson reveals struggle to get Taylor Swift's Eras Tour tickets for a friend
When Dwayne Johnson’s friend reached out to him, confessing they hated to ask him for a favor but couldn’t find affordable tickets for Taylor Swift’s final concert, Johnson sprang into action. But getting the tickets proved quite a challenge even for The Rock.
"It’s never happened in my career. Usually, I don’t have to pull strings … I just make it happen," Johnson, 52, admitted to Entertainment Tonight.
Despite his reluctance to leverage his connections, Johnson made an exception for his friend.
"I’m never good at asking for that kind of stuff. I’m good at giving it. Hate asking for stuff. I don’t do it," he confessed.
After a personal call to Swift’s team, the mission was accomplished.
His effort paid off, and his friend couldn’t have been happier.
"In this case, made a little call, Taylor made it happen, [we got] tickets … [my friend was] happy. I got the picture of the happy ladies who were there. I appreciate that about Taylor," Johnson shared.
Dwayne Johnson brings family to ‘Moana 2’ premiere in Hawaii
While Dwayne Johnson juggled favors for friends, his own career is going great.
The former WWE wrestler recently celebrated the world premiere of 'Moana 2' in Hawaii alongside his wife Lauren Hashian, their daughters Jasmine (8) and Tiana (6), and his 76-year-old mother, Ata Johnson.
His eldest daughter, Simone Garcia Johnson, 23, also joined the family at the event.
While attending the premiere at Oahu, Hawaii, the actor shared all about his experience.
The proud father said his daughters were "on the edge of their seats" waiting to hear themselves in the movie, according to People.
“They loved it,” he told the outlet. “Loved, loved it. They hadn't seen it before. They knew they were in it, and they were sitting on the edge of their seats, literally, and just waiting."
"Their scene came up, and they’re just like, ‘That's me!’ " he recalled. "It was so cool.”
“That’s the good stuff of fame,” he added, joking, “And nepotism.”

Garcia, whose mother is Johnson’s first wife, Dany Garcia, is carving her own path in professional wrestling under the name Ava Raine.
In 'Moana 2,' Johnson reprises his beloved role as Maui, the Hawaiian demigod he first brought to life in the 2016 animated classic.
The actor is also hard at work filming the live-action adaptation of 'Moana,' set to hit theaters next summer, where he will once again step into Maui’s larger-than-life persona.
