'DWTS' judge Carrie Ann Inaba blasts Anna Delvey's 'dismissive' response to elimination
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Carrie Ann Inaba has not-so-nice words for Anna Delvey as she was "taken aback" by the convicted con artist's response to her 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 33 elimination.
Delvey and her partner, Ezra Sosa, were eliminated alongside Tori Spelling and her partner, Pasha Pashkov on Tuesday, September 24, as per Entertainment Weekly.
When co-host Julianne Hough asked the "fake heiress" what she was taking away from her experience on the show, she replied, "Nothing."

Carrie Ann Inaba calls out Anna Delvey for her ingratitude
Reflecting on the double eliminations, Carrie Ann Inaba, who has served as a judge on 'DWTS' since 2005, shared, "The first eliminations always bring a mix of emotions. This week, we said goodbye to Anna and Ezra, and Tori and Pasha."
Addressing Delvey's last remark, the 56-year-old noted, "That was dismissive not only of the opportunity she was given, of her wonderful and supportive partner Ezra in his debut season but also of all of us who work on the show from the dancers to behind the scenes to the creative team."
She added, "We all put in the effort to give her a fair opportunity. But I donât think she could see that and itâs a shame. A little gratitude could have changed the narrative."
Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, gained infamy after she was convicted of defrauding New York elites and sentenced to four to 12 years in prison.
After her release from prison on parole in 2021, she was taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for overstaying her visa. In October 2022, she was released under house arrest, which requires her to wear an ankle monitor.
Recently, Delvey received permission to travel and participate in the reality show. During her debut performance, Delvey sported a bedazzled ankle monitor, drawing backlash from viewers and critics.

Inaba further told Entertainment Weekly, "I hope she will continue to dance, and I want to thank her for sharing her story and taking the leap of faith into the unknown with all of us, in our magical ballroom."

Internet slams Anna Delvey over her one-word response
Netizens agreed with Carrie Ann Inaba's thoughts regarding Anna Delvey's one-word response.
One wrote, "Glad sheâs out, great moves but bad vibes," and another said, "Thank God she dipped. Her moves were solid, but that attitude? Nah. She made it all about herself, and honestly, her partnerâwhoâs a top-tier coachâdeserved way better."
"She couldnât even thank her partner? Come on! Everyone there Iâm sure made her feel quite comfortable," remarked a person. Someone else added, "How incredibly rude. Glad she was voted off. Her friend saying that her past happened to her, PLEASE, she wasnât forced, her choice, her decision."
One more said, "Thank God she is gone. I wonder why she even tried. Her dancing was good, but her attitude sucked. She made it about herself, and her poor partner is a great coach."
"Of course, that would be her takeaway. And all she deserves. I feel for her partner Ezra - he's talented and deserved better," shared another person.
