Eagle-eyed 'Today' fans spot major photoshop fail in Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager's holiday card photo

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Eagle-eyed fans of 'Today' spotted something unusual in the recently unveiled annual holiday card of the NBC morning show.

The card featured beloved hosts like Hoda Kotb, Al Roker, Savannah Guthrie, Jenna Bush Hager, Dylan Dreyer, Sheinelle Jones, Peter Alexander, Carson Daly, Laura Jarrett, and Craig Melvin.

However, fans quickly noticed a distracting detail—Willie Geist, who was absent in the pre-recorded video, appeared to have been photoshopped into the group photo.

In a group shot shared online, the hosts of the NBC morning show posed in glamorous holiday attire. The women dazzled in sparkling sequin outfits, while the male hosts looked dapper in sharp suits. Notably, Al Roker, 70, a father of three, sported a festive red and green tartan blazer.

Geist, the 49-year-old co-host, was seen in a sharp blue suit, standing next to Dreyer, 43. However, Geist was noticeably absent in a behind-the-scenes video shared on the show's Instagram account. 

In the video, each host introduced themselves and discussed who they thought would bring the most holiday spirit to the show this year. Hosts like Kotb and Hager could be seen showing off some fun and eye-catching dance moves. 

Notably, this is Kotb's last Christmas with her NBC colleagues. The mother of two, who confirmed her departure from the show in September, will film her final show on January 10. 

In mid-November, Guthrie shared the news that Melvin, 45, would officially replace Kotb on the show. 

"I just want to say that we will spend a week celebrating you. As you mentioned, we have a lot to celebrate," told Guthrie to Kotb at the time, as per the Daily Mail.

She added, "Though you are irreplaceable, we are so excited about the news in our Today family and that is the person sitting right next to me, our dear friend and talented, wonderful, hard-working, most worthy of this, Craig Melvin is the new anchor of the Today show."

"And let me just say that the staff, the larger staff found out this morning, and people broke into applause. This is the one of the most popular decisions NBC news has ever made," concluded the 52-year-old. 

'Today' fans say Willie Geist looks like a 'cardboard cutout' in holiday card photo

Fans quickly took to the comments section of Savannah Guthrie's Instagram post with the behind-the-scenes moments from the show's holiday card to point out the odd detail regarding Willie Geist.

One questioned, "Was Willie photoshopped in lol?" to which one Instagram user responded, "Yes Haha," and another person added, "Absolutely, Lol."

"I said the same thing, Willie was photoshopped! 🤔," remarked a person, with someone else saying, "Willie looks photoshopped."

"You cannot fake the funk🔥🔥," expressed an individual and another simply wondered, "Photoshopped Willie!?" 

"I think Willie is screen shotted in 😂," quipped a fan, while another joked, "Super imposed Willie! 😂." "Poor Willie....a cardboard cutout.😮," remarked a follower of the show.
