This unconventional hairstyle of Musk's had gone viral in 2021, with social media users comparing it to Adolf Hitler and Kim Jong Un's haircuts. Musk at that time had buzz cut the sides and bottom of his hair while there was a good amount of hair on the top of his head.

And now it looks like Musk might be bringing back this hairstyle.

Internet abuzz as Elon Musk hints at getting new hairstyle

Elon Musk's latest post suggesting that he might be going back to his old look sparked hilarious reactions on social media.

One X user wrote, “Elon I support you even if you want to look like Beaker from the Muppets.”

Another sarcastically wrote, “Wanted to try how bald would look, but being bald seems so bad that even AI refuses to do this.”

One posted, “This will raise a lot of heads!”

“Don’t go back to that haircut. Please!” a person suggested.

“Shave it all, let's see the bald Elon,” a user mocked.

An individual referring to Musk’s son in his tweet replied, “1. That boy is precious. 2. Please don't torment your son by forcing him to look at that haircut.”

Another individual shared, “That’s the ‘I have a hair transplant’ haircut.”

“NOOOOOOO!!!!!! It looks terrible. I can't agree with most of these posters who are saying you look great, that's just a case of the Emperor's New Clothes syndrome.  Can you get 2 side wigs till it grows back? 😂 Elon I gotta be honest, it makes you look like Humpty Dumpty with a toupee,” a tweet read.

This came after Elon Musk’s former girlfriend Grimes revealed that she “tried begging” the billionaire to keep their children away from social media.

She shared on X on March 14, “I unfortunately do not control the internet and cannot wipe this from the internet. I have tried begging the public and my kids dad to keep them offline, and I've tried legal recourse. I follow you here. I've seen young ppl destroyed by the internet too.”
