Elon Musk quits gaming livestream after being brutally cyberbullied by gamers: ‘You have no friends’

WASHINGTON, DC: Elon Musk quit a game of Path of Exile 2 during a livestream on Saturday, April 5, after being subjected to incessant cyberbullying in the live chat.
Musk, while attempting to show off Starlink’s in-flight WiFi capabilities while onboard his private jet over the weekend, played Path of Exile 2 on the hardest difficulty, but had to quit after repeatedly dying, and getting cyberbullied by the gamers.
Musk, a self-professed avid gamer, previously shared that Path of Exile 2 is one of his most favorite games, while also claiming that he was one of the top gamers. Nevertheless, he later backtracked on his claim to admit that he had been secretly paying money to boost his gaming credentials to appear more skillful in the game than he actually was, per Game Rant.
Elon Musk subjected to hate comments while playing Path of Exile 2
As Elon Musk showed off his Starlink’s in-flight WiFi capabilities, he livestreamed himself playing Path of Exile 2, which was also broadcast live on his social media site X.
As the Tesla CEO started his gameplay, he was unsurprisingly poor at it. However, his skill at Path of Exile 2 is just a fraction of his troubles, as for the next two hours (a quarter to two hours to be more precise), Musk was called out for various topics, including his association with President Donald Trump, to the future of his Tesla company.
As reported by the Daily Beast, one of the first critics asked Musk in the in-game chat whether he could “please jerk off Mr Trump so he dies of a heart attack".

For the rest of the duration of the game, the PayPal founder was bombarded with several other comments, including “YOU HAVE NO FRIENDS AND YOU WILL DIE ALONE” and “YOU WILL ALWAYS FEEL INSECURE AND IT WILL NEVER GO AWAY.”
Another user even impersonated Ashley St Claire, the conservative influencer who is currently engaged in a bitter custody battle with Musk over their five-month-old child.
“Elon. It’s me, Ashley St Claire. I have no other means of contacting you so I bought PoE2 early access. Please pay your child support. Thank you Elon,” wrote the user.
Someone else even spammed, “ELON HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO LOOK THIS DUMB AND UGLY WHY IS UR TESLA COMPANY FALLING APART AHAAHAAHAAH! WHAT HAPPENED BUDDY?”

Following a slew of negative comments in the chat section, some streamers, nevertheless, tried to teach the tech genius how to mute the chat. Some even thanked the megabillionaire for his work on Starlink and Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
After the avalanche of hate comments on the chatbox, Musk pointed out, “There’s a lot of r*****s in the chat.” The DOGE chief, however, did nothing much to stop the incoming comments.
Then at one point when the WiFi connection got abruptly disconnected, Musk ended the stream. Though he had initially livestreamed the game on X, he later deleted the video.
Internet dubs Elon Musk a 'clown' after livestreaming drama
Social media users were not quite sympathetic toward Elon Musk's plight as they took a gleeful interest in the comments hurled at the billionaire businessman.

One said, "Elon immediately blocking the guy who said he ruined the country like how he ruined his marriage is so funny."
Someone else added, "He looked like he was going to cry after reading some of the messages."
"I still can’t imagine how insecure and desperate for attention you have to be to build this facade of him being some omnipotent gamer and buy your way into being at the top of the leaderboards only to watch him play like a complete noob and expose himself. Clown, absolute clown," chimed in another disgruntled user.
Another netizen noted, "This stream viscerally displays just how uncharasmatic and stupid a person can be, and still be wildly successful financially and have an unprecedented amount of power over people's lives."
"A man who fires people from their jobs a lot has a lot of time to play games. He should obviously be fired," declared another angry user.
Someone else noted, "I bet you next stream is gonna be him and 10 bots bought by him making a fake conversation in the chat instead of just muting the chat."
"AND EVERY NEGATIVE COMMENTER WAS CORRECT," declared one of the YouTube users.
Someone else pointed out, "The anguish in his eyes, bro's holding on for dear life."
