Elon Musk shares AI image of 'communist dictator' Kamala Harris, Internet mistakes her for Eva Longoria

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Elon Musk hit back at Kamala Harris with an AI-generated image of the VP and called her a ‘communist dictator’ in waiting.

The X owner's post was in response to Kamala Harris’ post in which she warned  Donald Trump of being a “dictator on day one.”

Social media users confused over Kamala Harris' AI image 

Several keen users on X, noticed the similarity of the AI-generated image of Kamala Harris to actress Eva Longoria.

Musk's post showed Harris supposedly in a red dress and hat. “Kamala vows to be a communist dictator on day one. Can you believe she wears that outfit!?” he captioned.

Usually, such posts come with a disclaimer from the platform. Users “may not share synthetic, manipulated, or out-of-context media that may deceive or confuse people and lead to harm. … In addition, we may label posts containing misleading media to help people understand their authenticity and to provide additional context.”

However, Musk's latest post does not have any label on it, making many wonder if it was a real picture, reports CNN. 

Internet slams Elon Musk for using AI-generated image of Kamala Harris 

Netizens accused Elon Musk of manipulating and misleading social media users with fake post of Kamala Harris. Many users called the VP's looks strikingly similar to actress Eva Longoria.

A user wrote on X, "Can you believe people believe this is genuine? Leaving aside the image looks more like Eva Longoria, how stupid does he really think people are?" 

"By the way elonmusk, it's your boy DonOLD who wants to be a dictator (fascist, communist, you name it), not Kamala. MuskLies," wrote another.

"AI really is racist AF. That’s closer to Eva Longoria than it is Kamala lmao," one expressed.

Another user commented on Musk's post, "The only thing I'm getting is that Eva Longoria would be a great lead in the eventual Kamala biopic??"

"I don’t know who that woman is supposed to be. Eva Longoria’s mom?" one wrote. 

Another trolled X owner saying, "He outta Suspend his own account for making deceiving, hateful tweets..."

"It doesn’t even look like Kamala. He uses AI to make his propaganda and this is the best he can come up with?" one poked fun at Musk.
