WASHINGTON, DC: Tech billionaire Elon Musk and Vice President JD Vance were among many who took a jibe at the Wall Street Journal for publishing an alleged birthday letter that President Donald Trump sent to Jeffrey Epstein on his 50th birthday.

The controversy regarding the Epstein list took a turn when the Department of Justice and the FBI announced that the disgraced financier did not have an incriminating "client list."

Elon Musk and JD Vance blast the Wall Street Journal over alleged letter Donald Trump sent to Jeffrey Epstein

The bombshell report by the Wall Street Journal mentioned that Donald Trump wrote in the alleged birthday letter, "Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret."

The outlet further added that the POTUS drew a naked woman, punctuated by a squiggly "Donald" below her waist, mimicking pubic hair.

However, Trump denied writing the letter and told the outlet, "This is not me. This is a fake thing. It’s a fake Wall Street Journal story."

Following Trump's statement, the Tesla CEO and the vice president also chimed in and slammed the media outlet.

Vance wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Forgive my language but this story is complete and utter bulls***. The WSJ should be ashamed for publishing it. Where is this letter? Would you be shocked to learn they never showed it to us before publishing it? Does anyone honestly believe this sounds like Donald Trump?"

He further added, "Doesn’t it violate some rule of journalistic ethics to publish a letter like this without showing it to the victim of this hit piece? Will the people who have bought into every hoax against President Trump show an ounce of skepticism before buying into this bizarre story."

Meanwhile, Musk bluntly wrote, "Yeah, the letter sounds bogus," while replying to similar claims made by Megyn Kelly.

Similarly, conservative commentator Laura Loomer also chimed in and claimed that the reported letter is fake.

She wrote, "I’m calling bulls*** on this Trump 'birthday letter' to Epstein. It’s totally fake. Everyone who actually KNOWS President Trump knows he doesn’t type letters. He writes notes in big black Sharpie. Trust me, I would know. He doesn’t use email and he doesn’t type write. He writes messages in big black Sharpie."

Donald Trump threatens to sue the Wall Street Journal

Donald Trump took to his Truth Social account and wrote that he is going to sue the Wall Street Journal for their report about the POTUS and Jeffrey Epstein.

He wrote, "The Wall Street Journal, and Rupert Murdoch, personally, were warned directly by President Donald J. Trump that the supposed letter they printed by President Trump to Epstein was a FAKE and, if they print it, they will be sued."

The Wall Street Journal reviewed an album containing 50th birthday greetings to Epstein from his associates in 2003.

The album was reportedly compiled by Epstein’s friend, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for trafficking minors to Epstein.

"The Editor of The Wall Street Journal, Emma Tucker, was told directly by Karoline Leavitt, and by President Trump, that the letter was a FAKE, but Emma Tucker didn’t want to hear that. Instead, they are going with a false, malicious, and defamatory story anyway," Trump further mentioned in his post.

He continued, "President Trump will be suing The Wall Street Journal, NewsCorp, and Mr. Murdoch, shortly. The Press has to learn to be truthful, and not rely on sources that probably don’t even exist."

"It has truly turned out to be a 'Disgusting and Filthy Rag' and, writing defamatory lies like this, shows their desperation to remain relevant. If there were any truth at all on the Epstein Hoax, as it pertains to President Trump, this information would have been revealed by Comey, Brennan, Crooked Hillary, and other Radical Left Lunatics years ago," Trump concluded.
