LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The 96th Academy Awards has concluded, with the winners taking home their Oscars. As Hollywood’s biggest night came to an end, backstage clips and footage started doing the rounds of the internet. One such footage that recently captured the audience’s attention was of Emma Stone’s energetic sprint backstage.

Recently, a TikTok account named Refinery29 released a video clip where the actress, who won an Oscar for ‘Poor Things’, was seen sprinting away from her husband Dave McCary mid-conversation, the New York Post reported.

In the footage published by the TikTok account, Stone was seen engaged in a conversation with her husband, Dave McCary, and actress Kirsten Dunst.

Suddenly, she was seen sprinting away from the conversing duo as she realized the film ‘Poor Things’ was also receiving the Academy Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.

Stone, who also acted as the producer of the movie, then ran toward the television set mounted on the wall to listen to the speech.

While bolting, she said, “Oh my God, it’s Nadia, and I love her,” referring to her makeup artist Nadia Stacey, who won the award alongside colleagues Mark Coulier and Josh Weston.

‘Poor Things’, which performed remarkably during the season’s award circuit, also fetched several honors for the crew, including Production and Costume Design, apart from Stone’s own Best Actress accolade.

The two-time Oscar winner in the Best Actress category, after winning her first for ‘La La Land’ in 2017, recognized all the other actresses nominated in the category before thanking everyone.

Taking the stage, Stone shared that the back of her dress -- a mint-green Louis Vuitton gown -- got broken.

She said, "Hoo boy, my dress is broken. I think it happened during 'I’m Just Ken'.”

She went on to praise the past winners and the nominees, saying, “The women on the stage, you are all incredible, and the women in this category: Sandra [Hüller], Annette [Bening], Carey [Mulligan], Lily [Gladstone], I share this with you. I am in awe of you, and it has been such an honor to do all of this together. I hope we get to keep doing more together.”

She concluded her speech by thanking her family, and her husband Dave McCary. She added, “And most importantly, my daughter who’s gonna be three in three days and has turned our lives technicolor. I love you bigger than the whole sky, my girl. So thank you so much.”
