LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Cardi B is taking a stand against body shamers in her own unique way—by indulging in a stack of pancakes.

The 31-year-old rapper recently took to Instagram Live to address critics who were body-shaming her after a performance in Las Vegas.

Instead of giving a rant or a speech, Cardi B opted to fake cry over a stack of pancakes, generously smothering them in whipped cream and syrup, showcasing her indifference to the negativity, as reported by Toofab.com.

The incident stemmed from her performance at Dari's nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 25. The 'I Like It' singer wowed the crowd in a leopard-print bodysuit that accentuated her curves.

However, not everyone appreciated her bold outfit, leading to a flurry of comments about her body. "Everybody saying that I look fat and that my a** is so fat… Everybody hates me," Cardi mockingly lamented while shoving pancakes into her mouth.

Cardi's playful retort garnered cheers from her fans, who applauded her for not letting the criticism get to her. Despite the support, the haters persisted, with many shifting their focus to Cardi's history of plastic surgery.

Cardi B has always been transparent about her cosmetic procedures. During an appearance on REVOLT's 'The Jason Lee Show,' she discussed her views on surgery and self-image.

"This is the tricky thing about a lot of people. People will assume when you do surgery or something, you're insecure about yourself or you hate yourself, and that's just not the truth," she explained. "If I want to correct something, if I want to do a little something-something like … I'm gonna do it. I like being perfect. I like a certain type of body, like, for myself."

Cardi's playful retort wins over fans

Cardi's playful retort garnered cheers from her fans, who applauded her for not letting the criticism get to her. "I LOVE how she can joke about it and move on. Its giving maturity," one user wrote.

However, the haters persisted, with many shifting their focus to Cardi's history of plastic surgery. "No one said you're fat, we said those surgeries look crazy," another user commented.

Despite Cardi's candidness and humor, some critics remained unconvinced. "No one said that they said she needs to stop with the BBLs, she looked perfectly fine to me before," one user argued.

Another added, "Nobody said she was fat, said that BBL is out of place."
