Cardi B trolled for defending pornography after Candace Owens calls for ban as it 'weakens men'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Cardi B is facing backlash for defending pornography in response to conservative commentator Candace Owens' call for it to be banned, claiming it "weakens men."
Born Belcalis Marlenis Cephus, Cardi B recently voiced her opinion after Owens took to X (formerly Twitter) to write: "Ban pornography. It is a psychological weapon intended to weaken our men."

Cardi B says she is not addicted to porn but does see its merits
The 'WAP' hitmaker, known for her outspoken nature, responded on Instagram, challenging the commentator's stance.
"Ommmggg why yall so against porn? Is it that bad for yall? I enjoy it but I don't know I guess it's like a 6 time a year thing," Cardi B posted. "I personally don't feel no connection or addiction to it just a little quick one two .... NOTHING LIKE REAL INTIMACY!"
Reflecting on her past as a stripper before rising to fame as one of the world's top hip-hop artists, Cardi B argued that explicit materials can serve as educational tools. "How ? It actually should teach men how to please a woman," she added.
Cardi B won't vote for Joe Biden or Donald Trump
This controversy follows another recent political stance by the 'Bodak Yellow' singer, who announced she does not plan to vote for either President Joe Biden or his predecessor Donald Trump in the upcoming election.
Cardi B, who had supported Biden in the 2020 election after Bernie Sanders lost the primaries, expressed her disillusionment with both major parties.
In an interview, she cited "layers and layers of disappointment," including inflation and US support for foreign wars, as reasons for her decision.
"I don't f**k with both of y'all n****s," Cardi B said, explaining her dissatisfaction with America's involvement in international conflicts while neglecting domestic issues.
She criticized Biden's policies on sending money to Ukraine and supporting Israel's actions in Gaza.
Cardi B criticizes U.S. foreign policy and resource allocation
"[America] don't pay for endless wars for countries that have been going through s*** for a very long time," Cardi B told Rolling Stone.
"There's countries [where] kids are getting killed every single day, but because the [U.S.] won't benefit from that country, they won't help. I don't like that America has this superhero cape on. We never did things to be superheroes. We did things for our own convenience."
Highlighting the impact on her native New York, the 'Drip' somgstress argued that funding wars diverts resources from critical domestic needs.
"It's just like, damn, y'all not caring about nobody. It really gets me upset that there is solutions to it," she said. "There is a solution. I know there's a solution because you're spending billions of dollars on any f**king thing. I feel like people got betrayed."
Netizens erupts with criticism over Cardi B's stance on pornography
A user tweeted, "Cardi B actually thinks the pleasure shown in porn is real? I didn't even believe that when I was a horny teenager."
Another added, "The only reason Cardi is against it is because she profits off porn. All her music videos and outfits are practically porn."
A third said, "Cardi sit this one out. Ya man out here pleasing several women." "This explains the youths mentality in a nutshell," remarked a user.
"Men can’t distinguish between real life morals & porn they take those real fantasies & fetishizes into the real world with them. It becomes mind & personality consuming," chimed a user. "this a grown woman saying this btw," asserted a comment. "That’s how Cardi b made her money!" stated a user
"And that’s exactly why offset is with a different instagram model each weekend," a user mockingly said. "I don't think anyone has actually learned anything from porn. It's not like it an educational series. What the hell is anyone learning from Booty Talk 300? Cardi need to go make a song lol," read a tweet.
