The viral post surfaced on Monday, January 19, on a X post by a page named Hoops Crave. The post came with a photo of the couple along with the caption that read, 'Megan Thee Stallion is pregnant with her first child with Klay Thompson.'

The claim is going viral with more than 2 million views as of now. 

The rumor is also circulating on other social media platforms, including Facebook.

Fact Check: The rumor is fake, as it is from a parody account

The claim is false as it comes from a parody account. The bio of the X account, Hoops Crave, notes that it does parody for entertainment purposes.

Moreover, no credible entertainment media outlets have reported on the rumor. Google search for the claim also does not generate any results supporting the claim. 

Even Grok, the AI assistant of X, has fact-checked the claim, saying, “The claim comes from a parody account. After checking recent news and her official channels, there's no credible evidence or confirmation that Megan Thee Stallion is pregnant with Klay Thompson's child."

Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson's relationship

The rapper sparked romance rumors with the NBA athlete a few days before confirming their romance in July 2025. Thompson, who is a four-time NBA champion and plays for the Dallas Mavericks, also made their relationship official by posting a photo with her on Instagram.

The couple made their red carpet debut at the rapper's Inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City on July 16. During the event, Megan spoke with 'PEOPLE' and gushed that Thompson is the 'nicest person I've ever met in my life.'

Before dating Thompson, Megan was in a relationship with Chicago Bulls star Torrey Craig. She was also previously romantically connected to Belgian soccer player Romelu Lukaku in 2023 and Pardison 'Pardi' Fontaine in 2021.
