LATROBE, PENNSYLVANIA: Former NFL star Antonio Brown joined the campaign trail for ex-president Donald Trump on Saturday, October 19, in Pennsylvania.

The ex-All-Pro wide receiver appeared at a rally to give a speech supporting Trump and made mocking remarks about Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

At a fiery rally supporting the former President, the NFL star targeted Walz, disparaging his coaching credentials with a sharp critique.

The Harris-Walz campaign has endeavored to link Tim Walz's role as an assistant coach for the Mankato West High School football team in Minnesota during the 1990s to his political campaign. While Walz served on the coaching staff, the team secured a state championship in 1999.

However, Brown displayed a lack of regard for the former assistant's brief coaching tenure in his Saturday speech.

"And, by the way, Tampon Tim Walz, he isn't a real football coach. He could never guard me," Brown said. "Business will be booming going against Tampon Tim Walz."

Later, responding to TMZ, which reported on Brown's criticism of Walz's coaching abilities, he commented on platform X, "Where's the lie? Tampon Tim is a fake coach."

Brown, having spent the bulk of his career as a standout for the Steelers in Pittsburgh, made a contentious departure from the team. He has since returned to the city, welcomed by an enthusiastic crowd, as he "looks to make a positive difference."

"Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, did you really know they want to put tampons in the boys' bathroom?" Brown addressed the audience. "That's really insane, right?"

In 2023, Governor Walz of Minnesota, who has been in office since 2019, received the moniker "Tampon Tim" from Republican adversaries.

This followed his signing of a law in Minnesota that requires public schools to provide tampons at no cost "to all menstruating students in restrooms regularly used by students in grades 4 to 12," which encompasses male students as well.

Antonio Brown doubles down on support for Donald Trump

Brown has consistently expressed support for former president Trump during the election cycle. In an interview with OutKick's Nick Adams in May, the ex-football star announced his endorsement of Trump, commending the former president's history and his impact on personalities within the hip-hop community.

"I've never met him. I've got admiration for his business moves, and I study his dad, Fred Trump. But I think Donald Trump is a good businessman and come[s] from a good family and has been a good president," Brown said. "I think he does some great things for my brothers in the music industry in regards to Lil Wayne, Kodak [Black]."

Brown has often shown his support for Trump with memes and direct political messages on his social media. Following the assassination attempt on Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July, Brown praised the former president's resilience.

"Cue up Many Men by 50 and we gonna win the presidency in a landslide F---ing Legend of the Decade," Brown posted on X.

Brown declared his participation in the voter registration drive in Pennsylvania, a pivotal battleground state, on October 4. Since that announcement, he has intensified his pro-Trump messages on social media and has also met with Trump's vice-presidential candidate, JD Vance, as well as Donald Trump Jr.

Internet slams Antonio Brown for targeting Tim Walz

As soon as the video of Brown criticizing Walz and Harris emerged on social media, supporters of the Democratic party began to slam the ex-NFL star.

A user said, "Brown is one of the biggest losers out there, not surprising to see him speaking at a trump rally."

Another added, "He's one big lie after another."

A user commented, "Spoken from a guy who kicked himself out of the NFL with his repeated dumb antics."

"I don’t trust that dude. He’ll say or do anything for clout," said a critic.

A person stated, "AB might not be the guy we want lol."

Another commented, "LOL this is absolutely pathetic - this is who Trump gets to endorse him? Trump is cooked!!"
