From Harry Styles to Matty Healy, here’s why Taylor Swift’s exes rarely speak about her in public
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Be it Harry Styles or Matty Healy, we have not seen any of Taylor Swift's exes speak about the pop sensation in public after their breakup. As per Mirror, a leading lawyer has now claimed that Swift could well use non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to prevent chatter online and in the press.
The 'Flowers' singer's former boyfriends are often the subject of her biggest hits. Now fans are even suggesting that her 11th studio album, 'The Tortured Poets Department', was inspired by her split from Joe Alwyn.
What did celebrity lawyer say?
Legal expert Emma Gill told Daily Mail, "Taylor Swift has settled a number of scores in song, yet cleverly ensured her ex-lovers rarely become liabilities."
The celebrity lawyer added, "By definition, we'll never really know what conditions are imposed by non-disclosure agreements - but you can find templates for 'Relationship NDAs' online."

"The law is there to protect your reputation and prevent confidential information about you being used for someone else's personal gain. These days, when so much is shared in public, shrewd millennials are also keen to set boundaries and expectations for social media, not to mention more intimate material, and a pre-nup will now often specify how photos or videos have to be deleted or returned along with the keys to the house or car."

There were reports of an "almighty row" between Taylor and Harry Styles, the 'Harry's House' hitmaker. But he's only ever spoken good things about her after they broke up.
Actor Tom Hiddleston responded to a journalist who inquired about his relationship with Taylor by saying, "I would rather not talk about this if that's all right." Meanwhile, ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal apparently expressed no problem about appearing in one of her songs.
Internet reacts to celebrity lawyer's NDA claim
Several social media users were divided over the NDA claim made by lawyer Emma Gill. Some users backed Swift while others commented on her personality.
A user wrote on Facebook," Just shows the type of person she is!"
Another user said, "Every lyricist that ever existed did the same thing. The problem is people dissecting all of her songs and desperately trying to link them to an individual in her life. Maybe it's about them, maybe it isn't. Speculation doesn't make it true."
A user said, "And in all of her relationships, there's ONE common denominator..."
The next user said, "Why single out Taylor? Good Lord, every songwriter out there has written about an ex."
A user wrote, "Not to mention many of the guys she's dated are either musicians or have a pretty big platform of their own."
A user wrote, "Music could be anything. That's why people like her. Just like ppl trashes their ex in real lives."
While a user wrote, "Let the critics be critics but her fans are her biggest critics & the only ones who really matter to her. To be a Tortured Poet, there's a definite depth because of the emotional surplus ... & there will always be "clutter." Heartbreak & Life are quite messy.. She is the best and greatest artist of our generation."
