The actress joined the massive "Hands Off!" protest movement against Trump, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and the broader Republican agenda, per the outlet.
Talking about the protest, Sweetin took to her Instagram and posted a carousel of pictures from the rally.
She captioned the post, "An incredible turnout here in LA yesterday for the downtown @50501_socal protest… thank you so much for asking me to say a brief something."
She continued, "I will say, it gave me a lot of hope that all is not completely lost, seeing that gigantic sea of people and knowing that was happening all over the country."
The first picture in the post showed Sweetin giving a speech during the rally, while the second picture in the post was a selfie of the actress.

Around 500,000 people registered for protests across the country, which were organized by coalitions rallying against what they called the "Trump-Musk billionaire takeover," according to the Los Angeles Times.
The event description for the 'Hands Off' protest read, "This mass mobilization day is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire allies."
It further stated, "Alongside Americans across the country, we are marching, rallying, and protesting to demand a stop [to] the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our country."

Meanwhile, Sweetin last made headlines in June 2022 after being shoved by LAPD officers during an abortion rights protest, which also took place in Los Angeles, as per Blast.
Sweetin said in a statement at the time, "I’m extremely proud of the hundreds of people who showed up yesterday to exercise their First Amendment rights and take immediate action to peacefully protest the giant injustices that have been delivered from our Supreme Court."
