George Clooney hints at surprising wife Amal to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: George Clooney and Amal Clooney marked their 10th wedding anniversary on September 27, 2024, with a hint of mystery.
The 63-year-old actor revealed his plans for a surprise celebration for his wife, Amal, 46, according to People.

Leaving Amal Clooney smiling on the red carpet, George Clooney teased, “I’m taking her somewhere tonight,”
"But she doesn’t know where," he said of the anniversary surprise.
The plans were kept under wraps, but it is presumed the celebration would be followed by their appearance at The Albies, an event hosted by the Clooney Foundation for Justice at the New York Public Library.
The Albies is an annual star-studded event named in honor of Justice Albie Sachs, a key figure in ending apartheid in South Africa.
Expressing his pride in the work Amal leads, George said, “I would support anything my wife is involved in."
“She’s always on the right side of history, and I’m always so proud to be in the same room with her no matter what,” he shared.
This year marks the third annual Albies, and the actor emphasized its importance in highlighting individuals who work tirelessly to fight for justice.
“It’s all about focusing attention on the people who don’t get enough attention,” said George.

George and Amal Clooney were married on September 27, 2014, in a lavish ceremony at the historic Aman Canal Grande hotel in Venice, Italy.
The couple exchanged vows as they were surrounded by close friends and family, including former Rome mayor Walter Veltroni, who officiated the wedding ceremony.
Reflecting on the day they tied the knot, George had shared, “It feels pretty damn great,” about becoming a husband.
The couple welcomed their now seven-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella in 2017.
Earlier this month, George and Amal returned to Venice for the Venice Film Festival premiere of his latest movie, 'Wolfs', where they mingled with George's longtime friend Brad Pitt and his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon.
As the 'Money Monster' actor celebrates a decade of marriage and continues his philanthropic work, he is also staying busy with new film projects.
Among his upcoming projects is an untitled film directed by Noah Baumbach, featuring actors like Eve Hewson, Adam Sandler, and Billy Crudup.
