Gisele Bundchen’s new baby’s gender revealed as middle name has ties to her children with Tom Brady

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Gisele Bundchen became a boy mother again when she welcomed her third child. 

On Wednesday, February 5, news broke that the supermodel welcomed her third child (first with partner Joaquim Valente), but further information, including name and gender, wasn’t shared immediately. 

Recently, a source revealed to People that Bundchen, 44, gave birth to a boy, and his middle name has an adorable connection to the names of his siblings whom the supermodel shares with Las Vegas Raiders owner Tom Brady.

Speaking to the outlet, the source revealed the child’s middle name which is reminiscent of nature, is a sweet nod to his two elder siblings. 

Though the first name of the child still remains unknown, the source revealed that the boy’s middle name is River. 

The Brazilian cover model’s son’s name continues the tradition of the water-themed names of her first two children - son Benjamin Rein, 15, and daughter Vivian Lake, 12, who she shares with ex, Tom Brady. 

The insider further revealed that Bundchen “received many positive messages and congratulations,” adding that she “wanted to keep it private for as long as she could, doing so was starting to be a challenge.” 

Following the news of the child’s birth, Page Six also revealed the reaction NFL star athlete, saying that Brady was happy with the news. Reportedly, he also reached out to his ex-wife to congratulate her for embracing motherhood for the third time. 

Meanwhile, on Thursday, February 6, the supermodel’s partner and the father of her third child, Joaquim Valente was seen strolling alone in Miami, Floria, just a day after the news broke that he became a father. 

As reported by Daily Mail, the jiu-jitsu instructor wore a black T-shirt and shorts, as he carried his phone while walking.

As per reports, Gisele Bundchen first sparked dating rumors with the fellow Brazilian-born in June 2023, a year after her divorce from Brady. Though she has been training with the jiu-jitsu instructor since 2021, the relationship blossomed later. 

Previously, she was married to the iconic NFL quarterback for more than a decade after tying the knot in 2009 and divorcing in 2022. 

While she was married to Brady, she was also a bonus mom to Brady’s son, Jack, 17, whom he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan.

When Bundchen’s pregnancy news was revealed in October, it was shared that the athlete was left “stunned” by the revelation. 

The insider shared, “At first, everything stings. Her getting pregnant, her hanging out with Joaquim, her moving on. But then he snaps out of it and remains busy, knows that his life is pretty good and to worry about things he can't control is a waste of time.”

“He could complain but what's the point. He got the best out of the relationship with Gisele until it fell apart, now it's not his problem anymore. He will be fine,” added the mole. 

Another source spoke to Daily Mail, sharing that the model informed the news directly to Brady after revealing to her children as she wanted him to hear it from her first. 

The source added, “Gisele and Joaquim were not planning to have a child together. This was unexpected. Joaquim has always wanted a family, so she is happy to be able to give this to him.”

“She knew that he would be a great father when her kids started taking classes with him. He is patient, playful and so understanding,” continued the insider, adding both er children were “absolutely thrilled” over the big news.
