NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Glen Powell recently joined Jimmy Fallon on 'The Tonight Show' to share anecdotes about his daring stunts and humorous escapades from the time of filming the upcoming romantic comedy 'Anyone But You' alongside Sydney Sweeney.

To start the conversation, the late-night host pulled out the "hot, pretty steamy" cover of Men's Health magazine, featuring the 'Devotion' actor, and showed off the spread where he can be seen showcasing his fitness prowess while engaging in playful workouts with his dog, Brisket.

Glen Powell embraces  the 'capybara' comparison

Fallon had a card with a photo of Powell from a past movie premiere that has since become a popular meme.

Explaining the picture, the actor said, "So, years ago, I did a movie where I basically didn't even get invited to the premiere, but I really wanted to go to the premiere. It was here in New York City. So, I got my own suit, did my own styling, I showed up and I was really excited."

He continued, "And I was maybe a little too excited. And then someone said I looked like a capybara who made a wish to become a human. And it kind of stuck."

Fallon humorously noted, "Yeah, the Internet just took it and ran with it."

Subsequently, Powell expressed, "But, this is why the Internet's a great place. Like, I really kinda own the capybara thing now. I am the capybara."

They discussed how the actor embraced the facial expression, calling it the "Powell face," and that it was a common thing among his family.

Powell recalled telling the actress, "Hey, Sydney, like, back off. That's a little too dramatic. It's a rom-com."

He recounted the comical revelation of a supposed "shark-repellent monitor" turning out to be a Fitbit, leading to an emergency helicopter landing that added an unexpected twist to the shoot.

Powell recalled, "They said there's a lot of sharks in here, they go, 'No, no, no, no we have a shark-repellent monitor that keeps the sharks away'. And I go, okay, cool and they hand it to me, and I go, 'This is a Fitbit'. 'I don't think this is going to keep it away,' but it did."

He further noted, "And then we got lifted up by a helicopter. And then, all of a sudden, the helicopter starts kind of quivering, and I and Sydney and Will, who's the director, looked at me, and they go, 'Hey, is that normal?'"

"And I was like...Because I fly, I'm a pilot, so I kind of know when things are going right and when things are going wrong. And we had to emergency-land outside the Sydney Opera House," added the 'Set It Up' actor.

Glenn concluded, "So I escape -- The Fitbit worked, and then I would have been right back in the drink with the sharks. So, anyway, rom-coms are a dangerous sport."

'Anyone But You', a blend of romance, comedy, and adventure set against the backdrop of the stunning Australian scenery, is set to release on December 21.
