Isabella Strahan's appearance on the GMA
Isabella and Michael Strahan sat down with co-host Robin Roberts to discuss her condition on the Thursday (January 11) episode, where she revealed that she was diagnosed with medulloblastoma in late October 2023, and had to opt for emergency surgery.
This revelation shed light on the disappearance of Michael Strahan from the show for weeks towards the end of last year, during which he had cited "personal reasons."
The teenager became tearful during the interview, and later stated, "I don't wanna hide it anymore 'cause it's hard to always keep in. I hope to just kind of be a voice, and be (someone) who people, maybe (those who) are going through chemotherapy or radiation can look at."
