NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Unconfirmed reports from Mediaite suggest that Roger Stone had allegedly discussed assassinating Democratic Congressmen Eric Swalwell and Jerry Nadler before the 2020 presidential election.

An exclusive report by the news website accused the longtime Republican strategist and lobbyist of proposing threatening the lives of the lawmakers, both serving on the House Judiciary Committee to then NYPD police officer Sal Greco.

According to the unconfirmed audio conversation received by Mediaite between Stone and Greco at Caffe Europa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the former allegedly said it was time to 'kill' Swalwell and Nadler.

"It's time to do it. Let's go find Swalwell. It's time to do it. Then we'll see how brave the rest of them are. It's time to do it. It's either Nadler or Swalwell has to die before the election. They need to get the message. Let's go find Swalwell and get this over with. I'm just not putting up with this shit anymore," read the conversation in Mediaite's report.

However, the website has not released the original audio clip.

At the time of the reported conversation, then House Judiciary Committee Chairman Nadler announced that the Committee would investigate then-President Donald Trump's decision to commute Stone's sentence, linked to his involvement in federal crimes in Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe.

The website quotes an unconfirmed source

Mediaite quoted an unnamed source familiar with the discussion who accused Stone of hating Nadler and Swalwell.

"It was definitely concerning that he was constantly planning violence with an NYPD officer and other militia groups," the unconfirmed source said.

"Stone had been at war with Nadler and Swalwell for years. He just hates them. He just wanted to get Trump back into office so these things would stop," the source further told Mediaite.

Roger Stone denies the accusation

Denying the allegations, Stone claimed the audio clip was AI-generated.

Responding to the remarks against the Democratic Congressmen, he said, "Total nonsense. I've never said anything of the kind more AI manipulation. You asked me to respond to audios that you don't let me hear and you don't identify a source for. Absurd."

Meanwhile, the alleged NYPD officer Greco did not deny the remarks, responding to Mediaite in a text, "I don't think your reader is interested in ancient political fodder."

The website also reported that an NYPD spokesperson confirmed Greco's termination in August 2022 due to his association with Stone.

The unconfirmed report comes amid Trump is leading the opinion polls in a likely rematch with President Joe Biden for the upcoming presidential election.

Internet turns furious

Despite lacking proof of the allegations, netizens are outraged at the fact that Stone is not in prison for intending to murder two lawmakers. Many demanded his immediate arrest.

One user wrote, "Stone needs to go back to prison where he belongs."

Another user remarked, "OMG! Stone should have been in prison long ago."

"How is he still walking free," read a reaction. Another added, "Isn’t this colluding on a murder plot? Or is this considered just locker room talk. (sarcasm)"

A fifth user said, "Hopefully that’s it for him Maybe he’ll finally pay a price for his crimes."

"Arrest Him!" a sixth user demanded. Another added, "He’s a former felon, should be apprehended immediately!"

One outraged user wrote, "And yet still walking around. Rich ppl are treated differently."
