MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Donald Trump made a visit to the southern border of the country last week, where he notably waved at migrants he is committed to preventing from entering.

'Late Night' host Seth Meyers found this action perplexing but couldn't resist finding humor in it.

Meyers mocks Trump's border visit gesture waving at migrants 'like in a school play'

In his monologue on 'Late Night' aired on March 1, the NBC host showcased footage from Trump's visit, depicting him standing behind a heavily fortified fence, accompanied by military personnel and Texas governor Greg Abbott, and casually waving.

"Former president Trump last week visited the US/Mexico border, and then waved at migrants like he was in a school play and spotted his parents," Meyers quipped.

Trump further amplified his gestures by pumping his fist at those on the opposite side of the fence, which prompted Meyers to mock him even more relentlessly.

"What are you doing?" Meyers questioned incredulously, before slipping into his Trump impression and humorously speculating on what Trump might have actually said. "Hello, it's me! Thank you for inventing queso!"

Meyers also took the opportunity to poke fun at Trump's recent claim to be "on the side of women."

"When's the last time Biden gave a lady 83 mil?" Meyers joked, referencing the legal settlement Trump paid to Stormy Daniels.

Meyers then proceeded to highlight a recent interview where Utah Senator Mitt Romney was asked if he would vote for former President Trump.

Romney replied emphatically, "No, no, no, absolutely not," before adding with a touch of humor, "Okay. Yes."
