LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sydney Sweeney became the host of 'Saturday Night Live' on March 2, where she addressed the rumors surrounding her life in a monologue.

At the beginning of her monologue, Sweeney poked fun at the box office results of 'Madame Web', the Marvel-Sony film in which she co-starred with Dakota Johnson.

What did Sydney Sweeney say?

During her introductory conversation, Sydney Sweeney talked about her early plans to become a Hollywood star and even joked about her own film, later talking about the rumors of her romance with co-actor Glen Powell.

“You might have seen me in ‘Anyone But You’ or ‘Euphoria.’ You definitely did not see me in ‘Madame Web,'” Sweeney joked.

She added, “But I do have a new film coming out called ‘Immaculate.’ I play a nun, so it’s perfect casting. But tonight, I’m excited for everyone to get to know the real me. I feel like people only see me as the girl on TV who screams, cries and has sex. Sometimes it’s all three at the same time.”

As the camera panned to Glen Powell in the audience, she also hinted that her fiance was present, later acknowledging that she was joking and that her true love was in the green room.

For context, Sweeney was recently seen alongside Dakota Johnson in the superhero film 'Madame Web' and starred alongside Powell in the romantic comedy 'Anyone But You', which has grossed $200 million worldwide.

She is also known for her roles on 'Euphoria' and 'White Lotus,' that helped her earn Emmy nominations.

According to Variety, Powell recently teased a potential reunion for him and Sweeney, citing, that they have been reading scripts together.

“When you find somebody that you really jive with, Sydney is so easy to work with and so fun. We’re definitely trying to find the next thing,” Powell said.

Sweeney's new film 'Immaculate' will release in theaters on March 22. Sweeney plays a devout woman who moves to a haunted Italian convent and unexplainably becomes pregnant in this psychological horror film.

Additionally, Kacey Musgraves appeared as the musical guest on Saturday, March 2, marking the artist’s third appearance on the show.
