'My TayLivia': Fans rejoice as Taylor Swift enjoys Olivia Rodrigo's Grammys performance amid feud rumors
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift was seen enthusiastically singing along to Olivia Rodrigo's performance of 'Vampire'. This gesture appeared to dispel the long-standing rumors of a feud between the two pop superstars.
The speculation had been fueled by fans after Rodrigo, 20, was compelled to credit Swift, 34, on her hit song 'Deja Vu', leading to a significant royalty payout, as per Daily Mail.
Despite this, Swift, a recipient of 13 Grammy awards, showed no animosity toward Rodrigo, a former Disney Channel prodigy.
This moment of unity was met with delight by fans, who have affectionately dubbed the pair "TayLivia."
Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo's alleged feud
In 2021, there were whispers of a conflict between Rodrigo and Swift when the 20-year-old icon credited Swift and her frequent collaborator, Jack Antonoff, for her song 'Deja Vu' from her debut album 'Sour'.
The song had elements of Swift's 'Cruel Summer', and Rodrigo also credited the duo for '1 Step Forward, 3 Steps Back', which had similarities with Swift's 'New Year's Day', as per Independent.
Fans speculated that Rodrigo's song 'Vampire' was a commentary on her alleged dispute with Swift.

However, both artists have previously dismissed such rumors. In a September 2023 interview with Rolling Stone, Rodrigo subtly addressed some of the online gossip about her.
When asked if her song 'Vampire' was about Swift, Rodrigo told The Guardian, "How do I answer this? I mean, I never want to say who any of my songs are about. I've never done that before in my career and probably won't."
