'Greatest Oscars moment ever!': Internet in awe of Ryan Gosling’s performance of ‘I’m Just Ken’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ryan Gosling was more than Ken-ough to make the audience fall in love with his electric rendition of the ‘Barbie’ number ‘I’m Just Ken’ at the Oscars 2024

Gosling, dressed in a hot pink blingy suit, black cowboy hat and black glasses, enamored the audience as he performed the Oscar-nominated song ‘I’m Just Ken’ with his fellow Kens from ‘Barbie’ - Scott Evans, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Ncuti Gatwa.

Ryan Gosling initiates the performance from the audience

The 43-year-old actor, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, commenced his performance from the audience as he started singing while sitting behind his ‘Barbie’ co-star Margot Robbie.

While Robbie could not contain her laughter, Gosling took his performance to the stage where Mark Ronson and the other Kens joined him, per People.

His rendition went on to become iconic as he got surrounded by multiple cutouts of ‘Barbie’ face and got carried by his fellow Kens.

From the stage, he again came back to the audience where the entire ‘Barbie’ group including his costar America Ferrera and director Greta Gerwig, sang along with him. He took the microphone to his ‘La La Land’ costar Emma Stone who also sang along. 

Slash and Wolfgang Van Halen joined the multifaceted star to conclude the jaw-dropping performance later. 

While ‘I’m Just Ken’ did not win the Best Original Song Award, another nomination from ‘Barbie’, Billie Eilish and Finneas’ “What Was I Made For?”, took home the award.

Other musical masterpieces that were in the race were ‘The Fire Inside’ from ‘Flamin’ Hot’, ‘It Never Went Away’ from ‘American Symphony’ and ‘Wahzhazhe’ (A Song For My People)" from ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’.

The internet is completely smitten with Ryan Gosling's memorable performance as they took to the social media to praise the actor.

One of the fans declared Gosling's performance to be the "The performance of the night! #Oscars #RyanGosling #Barbie #Kenergy."
