HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA: Ryan Gosling is rehearsing for the Oscars and the atmosphere is buzzing with excitement.

He is preparing to perform the song 'I’m Just Ken' from the movie 'Barbie.'

Gosling was on the stage to rehearse the Oscar-nominated 'Barbie' song 'I'm Just Ken,' on Friday, March 8, at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, as per a publication was electric.

"Ryan was in great spirits and he was a total pro,"People reported, citing a source from the theater. 

The Oscars airs on ABC on Sunday, March 10. "He was joking around and having a great time," the source further revealed to the publication. 

Ryan Gosling was in high spirits amid a fun environment 

People there saw the rehearsal and said Ryan was enjoying himself. He was dressed casually and seemed very comfortable working with Mark Ronson on their performance.

"Ryan was relaxed, his spirits were high, and everyone was having fun," said the source.

Even as the details regarding the performance are secret, the source told the publication it’s going to be a big show with lots of dancers.

Did Ryan Gosling lie about not being invited to Oscars?

Jimmy Kimmel claimed that Ryan Gosling had lied about not being invited to the Oscars.

The late-night host said the 'Barbie' actor said on March 10 that had been "asked repeatedly" to sing at the ceremony, contrary to what he told Variety in February.

Jimmy, 56, revealed to Lara Spencer during an interview on 'Good Morning America' that Ryan "had to think about it for a while" when the Academy initially approached him.

He, however, assured his performance at the Dolby Theatre this Sunday will be a "big production."

Asked what he thinks Ryan's live rendition of the 'Barbie's 'I'm Just Ken' will be like at the 96th Academy Awards, Jimmy revealed, "I hope it will be great, I think it will be great. It's a big production and Ryan takes this stuff very, very seriously."

"We work very hard to make the show as good as it possibly can be," he said in the interview. 

"I feel like the Kansas City Chiefs going into this Oscars. … Like you’ve been there before, but it doesn’t make a difference — It’s still exciting and you still have to do well!" Kimmel said.
